I make sure I'm the first one out the door. I need to think about how to befriend Elsa. Because you only get one shot at her, trust me. It's like she's in a different world... Like she's hidden away even though I see her everyday. I see others running down the hallway behind me, I quickly take off and fly home.

My house is faraway from the city. It's a countryside cabin. In a small, winter neighbourhood. Covered in snow, but still toasty warm inside. My mother and sister live there with me. I touch the crunchy snow outside it. All the neighbours wonder why I don't seem to be cold... To me, the cold just never really bothered me.
I open the strong, wooden front door to my home and walk inside slowly.

"Jack! You're back!" I hear from my sister's room. She comes running up to me and gives me a big hug. I hug her tightly, "Hi, Emma!" I reply. Emma has very thick, light brown, waist length hair and dark brown eyes. She's a great sister to have. I couldn't wish for a better one.
I walk into my room and lay down on my bed. I then open my backpack to search for my homework. To freeze it. I finally find it and touch it with my staff. "There, homework done." I smirk.

I hear a knock at my door.
"Come in."
Emma walks in gently.
"Hey, big brother. Whatcha up to?" She leaps onto my bed. I quickly hide my frozen papers behind me.
"Oh, um, not much..."
"Something wrong?" She asks. I wonder if I should tell her or not...
Come on, Jack, this is your sister. She'll understand.
"Emma, I've agreed to do this stupid bet with Hans at school. I got rejected by Rapunzel, and now he knows I can't get a girl like Punzie, he thinks I can't get a girl at all. And I wanted to prove him wrong. So I agreed to bet him to see who can get Elsa to love them first, but I have no idea how to do that!" I smush my head into my bed sheets.

"Well... What's the worst that can happen?" She asks.
"If I didn't agree I'd be seen as a wimp. But if I loose this bet then I'll be unpopular, and I'll be bullied even more by Hans, and probably others, too." I look at her and sigh.
"Wow, seems you've got yourself in a bit of a pickle, huh?"
"Mmhmm..." I mumble with my face in the blankets.
"Why don't you just... Be yourself? Approach her casually, and don't make her uncomfortable. Invite her to sit next to you at lunch or something. Then see how it goes from there." She says happily.

"Thats a great idea!" I burst out. I give her a squeeze. "Thank you, Emma!"
"T-That's ok-kay-" she says out of breath. I finally let go and she smiles.
"I have to go and meet my friend at the park, but good luck, okay?" She says, I nod.
Emma leaves the room.

I still don't know how me and her are related.
Me, seventeen, acting twelve.
Emma, twelve, acting seventeen.
