Chapter Twelve - Instant win

{Jack}

"Tooth, Bunny, really? Was that necessary?" I roll my eyes at them.

"Oh come on, she doesn't deserve to sit with us anyway," Bunny folds his arms.

"Well I've had it with you guys." Rapunzel points at Bunny, then Tooth. She stares into space. "Jack. Can I talk to you for a second?" She then looks over. "Um.."

"Great!"

She drags me by the sleeve of my sweater to the corner of Lunch Room.

"Explain," She looks at me sadly.

"I... Ugh! I made this stupid bet with Hans. To see who can get Elsa to love them first.." I sigh.

"And you agreed?!" She almost yelled.

"I had no choice! He copped me redhanded. We both still don't have girlfriends, and people were watching, if I didn't agree they would just think of me as a noob." I get more frustrated by the second.

"Gosh, is that all you care about? Getting girlfriends for popularity? Just wow, Jack. Wow. Good luck with the bet, I'd say you'd win now you've just made her upset and embarrassed." she turns her back to me, and walks away.

This is not going well...

{Elsa}

I run down the empty hallways, the wind against my hair as it begins to become undone. I shut myself in the janitors closet. I sniff and rub my nose as I sit on the floor.

This has all gone wrong. I knew it was a trick, I just knew it. Nobody likes me! What was I thinking? They only invited me to that table to tease me. I take another sniff and tie my loose hair into a ponytail.

Being more social is so not for me. I'm sorry Anna, I tried. I huddle my head into my knees.

{Jack}

I gotta make this right. I have to find Elsa. But where could she be? "AH!" I hear. I look behind me, "What are you doing in here?!" The janitor is... talking to his closet..?

"Sorry, sorry!" Elsa runs out from the closet. I wish I had an easy button.

I follow her as she runs further down the hallways. "Elsa!" I call.

She stops and turns around,

"Get away from me." She does not  look happy.

"Elsa listen, I'm sorry for what happened at lunch-"

"I don't care! Just leave me alone!" She yells. "I knew you only invited me to tease me, that was your plan all along."

I didn't have a plan. I wanted to eat lunch with you. I wanted to get to know you more. But I didn't expect Tooth and Bunny to react that way. I'm really sorry. Please forgive me...

The bell rings.

"I have to go." She walks away. I sigh.
