Story 1.4

"Jinnie," Jisoo called as she approached the male who was sitting on the stairs alone.

"Hey," the male replied.

"Regarding the incident, I hope you understand where I was coming from."

Jin did not speak to Jisoo for a few days after that argument. He was not entirely angry with her. Instead, he was more troubled with the uneasiness that he had been feeling during that period. He did not know the cause but he hoped that it had nothing to do with the girl who stole his heart back in Heolsan camp. It was going to be a year since he last seen her.

"I'm good, don't worry."

"I thought you were angry with me all these time."

"You worried for nothing. I am not that petty."

"Looks like we might be heading back to Heolsan camp soon."

Jin looked at her with a confused look. "How do you know?"

"I overheard Lieutenant Park speaking to the local camp's officers. It seemed like most of the illusion traps were cleared and they could handle from here on."

"And we are being pushed aside after they made used of us?" Jin said.

"Chill. I guessed their intention was to give us time to recuperate. After all, our team also suffered quite a fair bit of casualties on their behalf."

"But I guessed some other groups also did in place of our members."

"Come'on, Jinnie. I thought you were good about that."

"I am, but this is a fact, isn't it?" Jin said. "Let's head back to the rest."

"Jimin, Jin and Jisoo do look good together, don't they?" Dami said as she saw the pair walking towards them, causing the male to choke on the soup that he was drinking.

"What? You must be kidding me," he replied.

"Aigo, don't tell me you want to keep Jisoo for yourself?" Dami teased. "Wake up from your dreams. I can guarantee with you that Jisoo only has eyes for Jin."

"Really?" Jimin said with his eyes widened.

"Why are you so surprised? Isn't it obvious? She is so cold towards most of the others, but she behaved so differently when she is with Jin." Dami took a mouthful of the rice before continuing. "I knew her since young. She is definitely treating Jin differently."

Jimin gulped down his food unknowingly, looking at the pair that was sitting down in front of him and Dami suspiciously.

"What's with that dork look, Jimin?" Jin said as he saw the look on the younger male.

"You two okay?" He asked cautiously.

"Of course, Jinnie wasn't even angry with me," Jisoo said as she held onto Jin's arm and Jin did not appear to be put off by the action. Jimin was stunned with the interaction between the two.

Jimin started to notice how Jin and Jisoo was behaving ever since Dami told him about her observations. Not sure if he was already biased, he did also feel that something was blooming between the two of them. He had always thought Jin and Moonbyul looked like a perfect pair. But with Jisoo in the picture, he was not sure on things would change when they return to Heolsan camp.

Meanwhile, Jaehyun and Taejun who happened to be in the front line camp, also noticed how close Jin was with another female that was not their sister.

"Looks like both of us worried for nothing for the past few years. Seemed like Jin wasn't interested in Byul after all," Taejun said.

"I bet not. He was probably not aware that his teammate liked him more than a friend."
