Story 4.2

Byulyi stirred from her sleep after hearing a faint sound. Thinking that it was the notification from her phone, her hands went around the bed, searching the device without opening her eyes.

It only took her a few moments to feel an item that felt like her phone.

Sexy bestie: "Byul ah, I had fun yesterday! I'm heading out of town with Jae Hwan for the next few days. I will bring back goodies for you! Saranghae~"

Byulyi could not help but to smile when she saw the message from Heeyeon. She felt happy for her best friend to find someone to depend on for the rest of her life.

Unlike her, nearly thirty and yet still single. To be exact, she had never been in any relationship before.

Letting out a sigh, Byulyi put her phone down after exiting from the messenger application. Her head felt heavy and she wanted to drink some water. It was her habit to have a bottle placed next to her bed so that she could have easy access to water while she was on her bed. But that morning, she could not find her bottle, no matter how far she stretched her arms to the sides.

It was only then she took a notice of her surrounding.

The orientation of the cupboards resembled her room but she had an odd feeling. A feeling that she was not her room. The walla appeared a little too white than what she thought of her room.

Suddenly, Byulyi felt a movement next to her and she turned towards the direction, which she pretty much regretted doing so. A male's face with a nearly perfectly sculptured features, with his eyes closed, appeared within millimeters from her face. She could feel his arms around her waist as well.

The next thing Byulyi did was to lift the sheets to check if she was wearing anything, hoping that whatever that was in her mind was wrong. She let out a soft relief when she saw that she still had her jeans on, although she had only her camisole on top. The shirt she wore last night was no where to be found.

"Can someone tell me why am I sleeping next to him?" She thought to herself, after giving herself a face palm internally.

After contemplating her next step for a while, she decided to leave without waking up the male who appeared to be deep in slumber. She lifted his arm that was around her waist gently and removed the blanket as lightly as she could be, as though she was in an operation at that moment.

Just as she was nearing the edge of the bed, a pair of arms hugged her from her back and pulled her down with her back on the bed, and her face facing the attacker.

"Morning, Dr Moon." The male greeted as he hovered above her, with his eyes looking straight into hers.

"Mor.. Morning." Byulyi stuttered. She broke off the eye contact after she regained her awareness of their current position. "What..."

Seok Jin raised his brows at Byulyi, prompting her to continue.

"What happened last night?" Byulyi said.

Throwback to the night before

Seok Jin and Byulyi was busy clearing up the used utensils and the leftovers from their gathering earlier on when they reached back to Seok Jin's unit.
