~ Chapter 25 ~

Five years later

"Hey Betty thanks for coming", Archie said as he opened the door from his apartment.

"No problem, take care of her", she smiled before Archie walked back to Veronica in the bedroom.

"Auntiieeee", the five years old yelled excited as she recognized the girls voice. She came running into the living room with her stuffed animal in her hand.

Betty crouched down and opened her arms and caught her as she ran into her arms. "Hey honey", Betty smiled, god she loved her god daughter so much.

"What do you have here?" She asked, pointing at the stuffed dog in the girls hand.

"Mr. Stuffie, daddy gave me", she answered.

"Wow that's so nice"

Betty picked her up and walked over to the couch. "Do you want to watch some tv?" She asked.

"No, I want mommy", she pouted, Betty frowned as her mood changed so suddenly.

"Luna", Betty sighed. "Mommy's not feeling well"

"Is it because of baby brother?" She asked and crawled over Betty's lap.

"Yes", Betty answered.

"Why is he doing that?" Luna asked so innocent, she was being so cute as always.

"He's not doing that on purpose", Betty told her.

"Make him stop"

Betty laughed a little at that, "He's growing in mommy's tummy and that makes her feel sick", she explained.

"Owh", the girl sighed and stood up in Betty's lap to reach her height so she could wrap her arms around her neck.

"Hey baby whats wrong?" Betty asked as she noticed she was acting shy and upset.

"I wanna be with you auntie", she whispered.

"You are with me right now", she told her and hugged her too.

"Nooo", she whined, "With you all the time....you make me happy", she told her.

"What about mommy and daddy?" Betty asked worried.

"They don't love me", she whispered in her ear ash she cupped her hands around it.

"Baby why would you say that?" Betty asked in shock, she was so young but had already these thoughts.

"Never spending time with me...Always baby brother", she whispered. The little girl unwrapped her arms and looked straight into Bettys eyes.

"Hey...they do love you more then anything else in the world"

Suddenly she noticed that the little girl's lip started trembling, she was about to cry. "Honey don't cry...they love you I promise"

She just nodded and rested against Betty's chest for a while until the bell rang. "Who that?" Luna asked confused.

"It's Jughead", Betty told her. Suddenly a big smile grew on her face. She jumped off Betty's lap and ran to the door, jumping in front of it as she waited for Betty to help her open it.

"Alright come on", Betty said as she picked her up and held her on her hip as she opened the front door.

"Hi", she smiled when she saw Jughead.

"Hey love", he said and kissed her.

"Eww", Luna said and slapped Jughead cheek gently.

"Hello to you too little one", he smiled at the girl.
