Y/n's POV:
I jolted from another dream that seemed to be longer than the one I had the other night. It was different, not the same as the way Harry had his dreams repeating over and over again, but mine was painful as well. It was the same ending. Everyone I loved, wide-eyed, breathless, staring back at me that made my stomach ache with fear. The same fear I had about butterflies.
"No, of course not..." I turned to see Ginny mumbling in her sleep while Hermione on my other side is snoring quietly.
We're in my room, we had a girls night. We could've done it in the our dormitory but Gin said it's way better when there's only one bed to carry us all. It was like we're in her room at the Burrow.
The third and last task is in the evening. I've been worried about things that might happen but Fudge turns a blind eye to cover his ego. I wish I had more power than just being Ms. Protector.
The clock on my bedside table read quarter to five in the morning. There's no way I'll be able to go back to sleep or wake up the two. I quietly got out of bed and went to my window. The cold cement making me shiver as I sat on it.
I slightly opened the window, the breeze immediately kissing my face. I sat properly and concentrated. My insides felt lonely, as if it used to be in a flock of chicks but now was all alone by itself. Too many things popped in my mind, I couldn't process or distinguish each one.
Fred...
I called, wishing and wanting for him to hear my voice. He's been understanding, he listens to all my rants and comforts me until I'm calm. There was a day where Pansy had almost snapped a girl dead just for looking at Draco. My head ached just thinking about her violence and possessiveness over a boy who doesn't seem to return the love.
A Hufflepuff girl became Draco's partner in potions. I requested professor Snape directly to make them partners no matter how annoyed I was at him for giving me a side eye. The girl is quite well at following instructions in brewing potions but she lacks skill in jotting down notes.
They had to make a potion that I gave Draco as an assignment and she tried to approach him but Pansy was all over him. Possessive as she was she asked the girl to leave because she needed to learn the exercise as well. Moments later I felt the girl in danger and heard Pansy pushing her to the ground in the great hall. I quickly ran and stunned Pansy. Another thing I'm allowed to do when necessary and it was very.
The door creaked open and came in Fred. I turned and smiled at him as he did to me. He closed the door gently and glanced at Ginny and Hermione who were sound asleep. I stood up and embraced him.
"Is something wrong?" I whispered. He moved some of my hair out of my face.
"No, why would you think so?" he whispered back taking every inch of my face to his memory.
"You're Frederick Gideon Weasley, you almost never wake up." I said quietly, grinning at him.
He planted a kiss on my forehead, "I heard your voice call me." he said, my eyes widened that spread concern on his face. "What is it?"
"I-I was calling you in my head, minutes ago." I said looking down. My face turned beet red.
"Hmm... Very interesting." he said smiling sheepishly. I rolled my eyes. My arms still wrapped around his waist, smelling him. His hand cupped my chin and tilted my head up to look at him. I pouted as my neck felt soreness as he tilted my head.
"You're too tall, it makes me neck hurts." I mumbled that he laughed at and gave me a peck on my lips.
Our head turned towards my bed as Ginny mumbled in her sleep, kicking Hermione. Hermione complaining at Ginny on her sleep.
