Y/n' s POV:

I groaned as I let myself fall on my bed. I just cleaned the whole house. I had some help from a house elf called, Eve, and she said Dumbledore asked her a favor if she could work in our–my house to keep it clean whenever I'm gone.

Eve is a free elf, she gets salary from Dumbledore... as far as I know and hope. She's very nice and sweet, fun company, if someone asked me. I turned towards the door when it creaked open.

"A cold drink, Ms. Y/n." she said as she placed the drink on my bedside table.

"Where's your drink, Eve?" her eyes sparkled after she heard my question.

"Ms. Y/n wants to drink with Eve? The Ms. Protector?" she exclaimed with glee. I smiled at her.

"Of course! We're friends! We will live together here and we're going to eat together, drink together, when I'm here, at least." I said sitting up to face her, she was just standing with glee in front of me, "Go on Eve, grab your drink. I'll wait for you!" I said, switching my hand that held the cup, it was too cold.

She skipped away as she went out of the room. I looked around the four freshly two days painted walls. This was Mum's and Dad's room but I decided that I'll use it from now on. The reason why Dumbledore wanted me to stay with the Weasleys half of the summer was because he wanted to reconstruct the house. It's three floors now and what used to be the second floor became the third floor. A lot of effort for me, in my opinion.

I was confused when I arrived at home, I even thought I was at the wrong house. But when I used my key to unlock the door I was surprised, the house was almost the same as it was but from the second floor, everything was different. We have five rooms in the house now. I'm not quite sure why Dumbledore did it but I thought it was way better. Maybe I can have the group come over from time to time.

I heard a skipping sound coming towards the room and it made me smile immediately. Eve came in the room with her cold drink. I invited her to sit with me that made her cheer with glee. It's really nice to have some company, knowing that Dumbledore made the house bigger.

While we're talking about how tiring it was to clean the house and how Eve assured me that with her magic everything will be easy for we heard a tap on my window. I saw Hedwig with a letter.

"Eve will be down in the kitchen to make supper, Ms. Y/n can just call out her name if she needs anything." Eve said as she placed our empty glasses on a silver tray. I nodded at her and watched her leave.

I walked to my window and open it. Hedwig flew inside and dropped the letter on my waiting hand. She landed on the bird stand with y/o/n. I opened the letter.

"Dear Y/n,

How have you been? It has been three weeks since we parted to enjoy our summer. I've been writing to Hermione and Ron but they haven't written back. I mean, I understand Ron, but Hermione never misses to send a letter back. I haven't been well since Cedric... I'm worried that they're in danger. Please right me back.

Favorite brother,

Harry"

I chuckled at the last part of his letter. He's really strong about the idea that we're siblings. I placed the letter on top of my study table and grabbed some treats for Hedwig.

"Y/o/n, share." I scolded as she pecked the treats that I gave to Hedwig.

I decided that I'll write Harry a letter before I sleep. I have to buy some food stock if Eve is staying in the house, I don't want her having a hard time even though she kept saying that she can do it all by herself.
