DRACO'S POV
When Mia finally fell asleep in my arms after she cried her eyes out, I decided to go and find my father to explain me what is going on with her dad.
I went to his office and knocked the door.
"Come in" I heard him saying.
I open the door and his eyes meet mine.
"Father. Can I ask you a question?"
"If it's about Mia join us, I said my last words" Great.
"It is about this but not what you think." I know this doesn't make sense but I don't care.
"What do you mean?" Okay, here it goes.
"I know that you don't want her there because of her father bu-"
He interrupts me "Who told you that?"
"Mia"
"She knows?" He looks terrified. Lucius Malfoy scared? What on earth?
"Yes. And I wanted to ask you why do you think it's not a great idea for her to join us? Especially now that her father is with us"
"This is exactly why she can't join us. If you care for her you won't let her do something like that" What?
"What do you mean?" First of all, why is he so worried about Mia? He never cared for me this way. And secondly what does her father has to do with all of this?
"Listen" He says.
MIA'S POV
I woke up but Draco is not here with me. I went to his bathroom but no sight of him.
I started getting worried until I heard his door open.
"Where were you? I got worried" I ask him.
He takes my face on his hands and kisses me. Weird.
"We need to talk" He says and I can feel my legs melting like a candle.
"Are you breaking up with me?" I can feel the tears slowly leaving my eyes.
"No. Of your not you dumb girl" He laughs and I am relieved.
"Then what is it?" My heart is beating so fast and I am scared I will pass out any minute.
"You can't join us. Even if you don't want to leave me alone there or anything else, you can't" Why is he acting so weird?
"Okay but why?" I finally ask.
"We don't have to talk about that. Not right now. I just want to sleep" He says and I can see how tired he is.
"Okay" I say and we walk towards the bed.
He lays down and brings me on his chest and we end up cuddling.
