CHAPTER 36

DRACO'S POV

She is insane, really insane. Why would she risk her life for me? Not that I wouldn't do the same for her but this different. How I am supposed to protect her when she goes straight to death?

We are now outside trying to find Blaise and Amanda to warn them but they are nowhere to be found.

"There they are" Mia says.

As we run to them, they look confused.

"What happened?" Blaise asks.

"You need to leave now" The terror is clear in my voice.

"Why" They both ask at the same time.

"We are in danger. You need to leave now" I say once again.

"What about you?" Amanda asks worried.

"Just leave okay. Please" Mia answers.

"Where are we supposed to go?"

"Go to the Manor. Tell my mouther I sent you there. She will understand" My mother likes Blaise so I guess she will let them in. The death eaters have left our house probably which means they won't meet any of them.

"Okay, just be careful" Zabini says.

"You too" I grab Mia's hand and start walking.

"Wait" She stops me in the middle of the hall.

"What's going on?"

"I need to talk to Harry" What?

"Why?" My nerves are boiling.

"First of all he is my friend and I won't let him die and second of all Voldemort wants to kill him too. He may has a plan" She explains.

"I am coming with you" She can't be alone with him. Even if circumstances as those my jealousy got inside my head.

"No, you will go to your room and wait for me to come. If you hear anything about when they are coming come at the great hall." She kisses me and turns around.

I want to follow her but I know she is right. I will do anything to protect her even if this means she has to be with Potter.

MIA'S POV

"Harry" I shout his name as I approach him and his friends.

"Is it true what they are saying?" He asks.

"About what?"

"The death eater coming into Hogwarts?" Oh oh.

"That's why I came here. We need to talk"

"Okay"

"Can we go inside please?" I point at the Great Hall.

"I am coming back. Stay here" He informs Hermione and Ron.

"Tell me" He says as soon as we get inside.

"Voldemort wants to kill me too. Not only you" I admit.

"What? Why?"

"I don't know. It's something about my father. I have no idea. Do you know what are we supposed to do?"

"I have an idea but I don't know if it's going to work" He sighs.

"I am listening"

DRACO'S POV

I have walked every corner of this room at least 30 times.

What is she doing? What takes so long? What if they are already inside and caught her? What if Harry makes a move on her? What if-?

My thoughts broke when she opened the door and came inside.

"How are you?" I ask as I hug her.

"Draco" She whispers. I don't like that.

"What?" I look at her.

She gives me a letter "I want you to read this. But not now. When all of this ends. Please promise me that you will read it after the war. It's really important"

Of course I want to read it now but it really does seem important. "Okay" I agree.

"Thank you" She kisses me but it feels like a good bye kiss.

"What did Harry tell you?" I had to ask. She acts so weird .

"Nothing, He heard about the death eaters before I tell him"

"Can he help you or something" Please say yes, please say yes.

"No" Fuck.

"It will be okay, everything will be okay" I kiss her with all the emotions I have.

"I love you, so much" She says.

"I love you more" I assure her.

She smiles and hugs me.

We started hearing voices from outside, which means the war started.

I went to look from my window to see what is happening and I saw many people around someone, someone dead. Dumbledore.

Fuck they completed the first task. Mia and Harry are next. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck.

"It's happening" I say worried.

Mia gups and looks down on the floor.

"I have to get you out of here. I know it's late but I have to" My whole body is shaking.

"Okay" She agrees. That was easy.

I take her hand in mine and lead her outside my room.

As we reached the garden I saw many familiar faces. Their faces.

Everyone is outside now. All the students and professors against the death eaters and Voldemort.

"Draco" Lord says. "Come with us"

I shake my head "No"

"I see you brought company" He says looking at Mia whose hand is still on mine.

Her father in not here and that worries me the most. What if he shows up later?

"I am happy to see you are working on your task" He continues.

"Don't touch her." I warn and he laughs.

"Or what? Are you going to kill me?"

Before I can respond Mia leaves my hand and starts walking towards him. What is she doing?

My heart beats faster and faster in every step closer to him she does.

"Oh someone came to die" Voldemort says.

"Actually I do" What? She did not just said that! She can't die. I won't let her.

I started running to her too stop her but it's too late.

"Avada Kedavra" The green light hits her chest and her body falls down on the floor.

I can't walk, I can't speak, I can't even cry. She is gone. My Mia is gone.

I am going to say it again. This is NOT the last chapter so PLEASE DON'T HATE ME. You don't know how many stories broke my heart because the main character died. I can't promise an after ever happy but I also can't promise that someone will die.

Also I made some changes: Dumbledore did the same day as the war began, Harry didn't pretend to be dead, he was on the crowed just like everyone else. Also it's night!
