CHAPTER 41

4 MONTHS LATER

MIA'S POV

"Are you ready?" James says.

"Yes" I grab my bags and leave the house.

It's time to go back at Hogwarts, after everything that happened, it's finally time.

I am not sure how I feel about going back there anymore. I missed having classes and meet people but many things happened there.

First of all I almost dies there and second of all he will be there.

Over the last few months I got better.

4 days after he left the Burrow I decided to go back to the muggle world, to stay at my mother's house. No one would find me there, actually many people would find me but I didn't care. I organised my mother's funeral, even thought almost no-one came.

The only people who came were our neighbours and James with his family.

In case you haven't understand who James is, he is the person I lost my virginity. Yes the person I got so drunk and slept together.

I hadn't seen him since then until the funeral. He has change quite a lot. His hair is longer and he got really tall, and I mean really tall.

He doesn't know about my.... abilities. He doesn't even know where I am going. I told him I had to go somewhere for a whole year and thankfully he didn't ask questions.

We are not exactly dating, I am not ready to do that, not now. But we hang out a lot and we make out some times, just like I used to do with Cedric.

The first month without Draco was difficult. I couldn't sleep, eat or even talk. I was devastated. But James really helped me. He was there when I needed him, something Draco couldn't do.

"I am going to miss you" He says as he leaves me at the train station.

"Aw I am going to miss you too" I smile.

He leans down and kisses me. His kiss is much more different than Draco's, at least that's what I remember.

"Um" A voice says from next to me.

I turn around and see Amanda.

"What the-" I say and run to hug her.

"I wasn't sure if it was you or not" She laughs.

"Why?" I look at her confused.

"You changed, a lot" Truth to be told, I really changed. I lost weight and changed my style.My confidence grew after my breakdown and I am thankful for that.

"Thank you" I say and turn back to James.

"I gotta go" I look up at him.

"I know. Have fun" He smiles and leaves.

"You know you have to tell me everything on the train right?" Amanda reminds me.

"Yep" I nod.

I don't know where we are going to sit because I don't want to sit with the boys.

"Here" Amanda says and sits down at the free seat.

5 minutes have passed when someone knocked the door.

Blaise comes in, alone.

"Here you are" He says to Amanda.

"Hi Blaise" I talk first. I don't know if he has spoken to Draco or not so I just go with the flow.

"Hi- Oh wow. You changed a lot since you 'died'" I knew he would comment that. Probably everyone at school talks about that.

"Yea" I sigh.

"That was rough dude. Why would you even fake your own death and then send a letter to explain what happened?" Amanda says.

I sent her a letter about 2 months ago telling her I am alive and that all of this was just to confuse the death eaters.

I found out my father died, I don't know when or how but he did. And now I am safe.

"I told you. It had to be done"

"I know. I just had to tease you for being such a dumbass" She smiles.

Without thinking I ask "Where is Draco?"

"Um he told me he would be there before us. He didn't want to come with the train" And I wonder why.

"Anyways, how was your summer?" I change the subject.

They started telling me their stories and how their parents reacted when they found out they are dating.

The time passed fast and we are finally here, at Hogwarts. It doesn't seem much different than it did before.

Amanda and I decided to move together. I am going to stay at her dorm. I don't want to be with Pansy anymore and I can't go to Draco's room to avoid her.

"We are just going to leave our things and we will come back" Amanda says to Blaise.

Her room looks the same as before. I guess the inside wasn't destroyed or something.

"Ready to go back to him?" She asks as we reach the door of the Great Hall.

"No" I admit.

"Good" She takes my arm and leads me inside.

Okay I don't know what the hell happened in here but this is not how I remember it. The big room is much bigger than it used to be and more brighter.

We walk down the halls and there he is. His platinum hair falling in his beautiful eyes and those rings I always liked on his fingers.

Before I get to have a better look of him, Amanda drags me to the Slytherin table. Right in-frond of him. Oh no.

Blaise is next to him looking as uncomfortable as I am. Draco seems cool, he doesn't even look at me.

"God I missed it here" Amanda huffs.

"Hmhm" Blaise nods.

Draco and I don't say a word during lunch.

Professor McGonagall gives us the speech Dumbledore used to say and talks about the looses this school had. After many sobs from many people it was finally time to eat

"So" Amanda breaks the silence. "Who was this dude you were with earlier?" She turns, looking at me. Really? All the things you could say you chose to say that? I know she does that to make Draco jealous and sadly it works. For the first time in 4 months his eyes met mine.

"No-one" I say looking at my plate.

"Really? He didn't seem like no-one to me" She smirks.

"It's no-one, really" I try not to snap.

"When he leaned down and-" I cut her off by sitting up and leave the room.

She didn't have to say that in front of Draco. That's why she didn't ask me questions about him on the train.
