Payton's POV

I looked down at my slightly trembling hands, clutching the steering wheel as I followed the GPS' directions.

I could hardly believe I was about to go to some random guys house. By myself.

At first, it was just a joke when my friends dared me to download Grindr a few weeks ago, but a couple days later I received a lot of private messages on there, mostly from one guy.

He seemed sweet at first, giving me compliments and sharing some details about his personal life. But soon, he wanted to use the app for it's intended purpose and asked me to come his house.

I was going to turn him down until I realized just how inactive my love life had been since moving to LA and I figured a one night stand couldn't hurt.

So I agreed to meeting up with him and we set a date. I was actually pretty excited and had been planning and preparing a week in advance.

It was now, in the car on my way to the address he sent me, that I thought about how dumb I was for doing this.

I didn't even bother to check his profile and see how old he was, I just scrolled through the pictures. For all I knew, I could be getting catfished, and that's not how I want to spend my Saturday night.

But something told me I wouldn't regret going and that I shouldn't turn around. I'm not sure what it was, maybe instinct, but I decided to listen.

After nearly and hour of driving, I finally pulled into a wide driveway that led to a huge house. 

My jaw dropped in shock at the mansion in front of me and I quickly looked to see if this was the right place.

When I was sure this was his home, I climbed out of my car, locking the doors and making my way to the front porch.

I rang the door bell and knocked twice for good measure, and hoped only a little that he wouldn't hear either and I could make a run for it.

That wish went out the window when the door swung open and the exact man from the profile stood there.

He practically towered over me, probably about 4 or 5 inches taller than me. I would've cowered away if it weren't for the bright and inviting smile on his face.

"Hi, you must be Payton! I'm Tayler." He said, extending his hand for me to shake.

"Y-yeah, that's me. A-and I a-already knew y-your name." I stuttered out, taking his much larger hand in mine.

His smile widened as we shook hands and he stepped back opening the door a little wider, "Come on in."

I walked into the house and was in shock again at the interior with nice furniture, designer decorations, and expensive looking appliances. Tayler didn't look that much older than me, but he was definitely richer.

"Your house is beautiful." I told him.

"Thanks, let's sit down." He said, leading me to a large, white couch.

We sat down across from each other and accidentally made eye contact. I jumped a little and looked away, but I could tell his eyes were still glued on me.

"I know we've already talked, but this is our first time meeting in person so I figured we could get to know each other."

"Really? Is this like a date? I thought it was just a hook-up." I said, surprising myself by not stuttering.
