I was a saint
in absolute devoutness
dragged into blasphemy
forgotten all past beliefs
and ended up
worshipping you instead
everything is better
from above you
made me abandon my faith
pursuit to declare you
as my only salvation
for what it is worth and true
you will be my damnation
till the end of times
you painted my skin
with testimonies of our sins
I covered your eyes
with the marks of our demise
everything looks better from above
it seems
ethereal skies
eternal nights
and anything that cannot be reached
but is hidden in plain sight
