Chapter 6

"Y/n come on, I have a class to teach and a nap to take" he said when he noticed you were still just standing there.

You sighed and jogged to catch up to him. You both walked in silence most of the way until he broke the it.

"Are you still up to watch Eri tonight?" He asked with his hands in his pockets.

"Yes I'm still up to watch her" you said looking up at him because he was a bit taller then you.

When you looked you really noticed the scar that was left under his eye from the USJ attack. You didn't remember much from the attack but you vividly remember when Aizawa got hurt. Ever since then you secretly hated when he went on missions, it didn't matter if was small or not, you never wanted to see him hurt like that again.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" He asked noticing that you were staring at him.

"Huh , oh sorry" you said looking forward.

"Answer my question" he said glancing at you from the corner of his eye.

"Oh uhh, I was looking at the scar under your eye" you said walking out of the dorms.

He hummed in response and looked at you while you walked down the stairs.

"You don't have to answer but why?" He asked, the question making you get a little tense.

"I don't like that it's there." You said bluntly before continuing. "Not that it's your fault that the scar is there, I just don't like how it got there. I don't really like the thought of you getting hurt."

He looked at you with pink on his cheeks. You looked over at him and made quick eye contact before he broke it.

"You don't need to worry about me Y/n" he said with a serious tone slightly burying his face in his scarf.

"Yes I know but..." you sarted then stopped leaving him waiting for the rest.

"But?" He asked as you both arrived to the training facility.

"Nothing, never mind" you said before he opened the door for you.

"If you say so" he mumbled to himself as you walked in.

After school was over you went back to your dorm and changed into some comfortable clothes then headed over to watch Eri for the night. You walked into the teachers dorms and saw Eri sitting at a table with Aizawa next to her, showing him all the pictures she drew today. Aizawa was the first to notice your presence, getting up from the table, Eri then noticing you. She did a little jump off of the chair and ran to give you a hug.

"Ok I'll only be gone for a few hours" he said looking at you give Eri a hug back. "If you need anything call me" he said handing you a sticky note with his number on it.

"Noted" you said standing up and looking at him.

"Just make sure you get her to bed on time" he said then looking at Eri. "Be good" he said petting her head, her giving him a smile and a nod. "I'll be back later" he said walking past you, his scent lingering behind him.

He smelt like dark coffee and a hint of lavender. The scent was almost... intoxicating. You looked back at him as he walked out of the building mesmerized by the smell before Eri called for attention.

"Y/n come look at my pictures" she said grabbing your hand and pulling you to the table.

You sat down next to her and looked at all of her pictures, Eri explaining each one to you.

"You wanna draw with me?" She asked looking over to you.

"Of course I want to draw with you but I don't have any paper." You said shrugging your shoulders.

"Oh, I have some, give me one second" she said getting off the chair and running to go get some paper for you.

You smiled and shook your head and went on your phone while you waited for her to come back. While you were on your phone you decided to put Aizawas number in your contacts. Soon after, you heard tiny feet running back to you.

"Here I got you some paper" Eri said sitting back in the chair with a smile while handing you the paper.

You thanked her and then you both began to draw. You both sat at the table and drew for a pretty long time. She drew about 3 pictures and colored all of them, you however only drew 1 and it wasn't that great, it was a bunch of flowers with a river in the back.

"Y/n can I paint your nails, Shota never lets me paint his" she said putting some of her markers back.

"Before I answer, are you good at it?" You asked

"Yes I'm good at it, I promise" she said trying to convince you.

"Hmm how do I know?" You said with with a suspicious tone and face.

"Midnight let's me paint her nails" she said after thinking for a second.

"Alright, I'll trust you, go get the nail polish." You said then watching her run to her room.

She brought back 4 different colors, all consisting of pastel colors, and you already know what your nails were going to look like. You gave her your hands and she shook and opened the light pink and painted both of your thumbs. She then used a light purple on your pointer finger, light green on your middle finger, and light blue on your ring finger, then going back to pink for your pinkie. When she finished each nail she would blow on it lightly before going onto the next one.

"Ok finished" she said happily while closing the bottle. "Do you like them?" she asked looking at you waiting for your response.

You looked at your nails, realizing she did a really good job. You kept looking up at her waiting patiently for your answer. You hummed and looked up at her with a serious face before nodding with a smile making her visibly happy.

"It's 6PM, are you hungry?"You asked looking at her.

"Oh yes, but I was wondering if we could cook dinner together?" She said a little bit nervous.

"I would love to cook with you Eri, just go put your stuff away and meet me in the kitchen" you said getting up from the table as she picked up all of her stuff and brought it back to her room and immediately going to the kitchen.

You both debated for awhile about what to cook and you both came to the agreement that you would make mac and cheese. You got the pot out and she grabbed the box. You sat her on the counter and she watched until you told her to sir the noodles while you got the strainer. You strained the noodles, putting them back in the pot and let her mix in the cheese, milk, and butter. You then served her then yourself and sat at the table and started to eat.

"Y/n can I ask you something?" She asked mouth still full of food.

"Yes, but finish chewing first" you said with a chuckle taking another bite.

"Do you like Shota?"
