Unbothered (Shōta Aizawa x Reader)

Chapter 29

It had been a few months and he still had not come back. But you went through your days trying to do the things he asked you to. You were eating at least twice, you made sure Eri was okay, and you did your best not to worry about him. You felt good most missions he went on only lasted about this amount of time. You just took it one day at a time. Somedays were better than others. On the better days you would go out and have fun but on the not so good ones you stayed in your room wearing his shirt and talking to him like he was there. Anyone from the outside looking it with absolutely no context would think he was dead. But he had made you a promise to come back as soon as possible. So you were gonna hold him to it.

You were asleep in bed wen you woke up at around 3:30 with this horrible gut feeling. You got up and didn't know what it was from. You tried to shake it off and go back to sleep which eventually worked. You woke up the next morning and went down stairs. It was Saturday so you had nothing you needed to do. You looked around and saw everyone around the tv.

"Hey guys what going on." You said doing one final stretch.

"Come look at this" Mina said pulling you close enough so you could see the tv.

It was on the news and the headline made your face go pale. 17 hero's all injured or dead with some missing. You felt your heart drop to your stomach when you saw the time it took place, 3:30 AM. You took a step back and felt your whole body get shivers. You thought it must have only been a coincidence. The news showed clips of the scene. Midnight was there she looked defeated. They tried to ask her questions and all she said was " I'm sorry I let this happen again". What she said, it didn't make a lot of sense.

"I see you have all already seen it" Present Mic said in an unusually calm voice, while everyone turned around to look at him.

If you looked at his face you would know something was wrong. But when you took in the whole picture you knew exactly what was wrong. He stood there tears welling up in his eyes and Aizawas binding cloth in his hands. It was burned and tethered. You just stood there he didn't have to say anything for you to know what was going on. He was either dead or missing nether of which you wanted to  be true.

"As you all know Aizawa was on a mission these past few mouths, however as you have seen on the news something bad happed." He paused taking a breath. "And unfortunately we don't know where he is all we found was this and his goggles" he said looking at the floor.

You just looked strait ahead. You felt like the walls we're gonna close in on you. It felt like there was not enough air in the room for you.

"Excuse me I'm gonna get some air" you said asking a b line for the doors.

Once you were outside you tried to get as much as you could you felt like you were suffocating. You put you back on the stone wall and tried to calm yourself but it wasn't working you thought you were gonna pass out.

"Y/n are you ok?" Kirishima asked as he shut the door behind him.

"No. No I don't think I am" you said closing your eyes trying to regulate your breathing.

"Y/n what wrong?" He said with a little concern in his voice.

"If I tell you you can't tell anyone else, not even Mina" you said looking at him, he nodded in response.

"You know the boy you told me to say I love you to" you said.

"Yes I remember"

"Yeah well that boy is a man and that man happens to be our teacher" you said as calmly as you could.

You just saw his eyes get wide as shock covered his face.

You had told Kirishima everything. From start to finish, and like normal he just listened. He wasn't quite sure what to say it was all just shocking to him. If you hadn't of told him he would've never know but now that you were pointing things out he finally put the pieces together. Especially when it came to the marks you would have on your neck. Anytime he or Mina would point them out he would get a small smirk that no one would notice unless you looked close enough.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you before, but now I don't know what to do. He can't be dead can he?" You said as more tears ran down your face.

Kirishima just hugged you and let you cry he didn't say anything he just comforted you to the best of his ability. You cried until tears just stopped coming out. You felt numb.

"I'm sorry" you said wiping your face

"Don't be" he said wiping you damp cheek with his thumb.

"I'm gonna go lay down in my room for a little bit" you said getting off of his bed

"Y/n if you need anything I'm here" he said before you got to the door.

You nodded and made your way to your room. You laid in your bed in silence not moving or anything. It eventually got dark and you got out of bed to get his shirt. You put it on to see if it would help you get some sleep but no luck. After a few hours of tossing and turning you got out of bed and went down stairs. No one was up so you made your way to the teachers building. Once you were there you went up the stairs and went to the one room that hadn't been opened in a few mouths.

You knew where he hid his spare key and quickly found it under his name plate by his door. You opened the door and everything was exactly where he left it. You shut the door behind you locking it, you laid on his bed and wrapped yourself in the black blanket that was always at the end of the bed. You laid there and cried. You wanted him here with you. You eventually went out on his balcony and sat there looking at the sky.

"I bet you miss him?" A deep raspy voice said startling you a bit.

"Who are you?" You questioned the man who had black hair a bright blue eyes that looked familiar.

"Aww I'm surprised you don't remember me. It's okay though it's been quite awhile" he said leaning against the brick wall. "But you still have yet to answer my question, do you miss him?"

"I don't know why it would matter to you" you said and he just stayed silent. "But yes I do, he was a good teacher"

"Such a good teacher you come in his room so comfortably" he said with a tilt of his head. "You know I wonder what everyone would think if they found out"

"Found out what exactly" you said looking over at the tall man.

"Found out you two are together "
