Unbothered (Shōta Aizawa x Reader)

Chapter 8

It was the end of the day, meaning it was time for your assessment. You had changed into some shorts and a tank top before meeting with Aizawa in front of the main building.

"Just so you know, this is kind of unfair that I don't get to know" you said walking next to Aizawa.

"You'll be fine" he said glancing at you from the corner of his eye. "It shouldn't be too hard for you if you're fully recovered like you say you are"

"Ok cool, then I'll be fine" you said looking at him, giving him a smile as you both walked into the training facility.

Even though you didn't know what you were going to have to do, you still had confidence that you were going to pass. Besides, how hard could this be.

"So, can you tell me now what exactly I'm going to be doing?" You asked putting your hands on your hips.

He walked in front of you "you will be doing a scrimmage..." he said before turning around. "With me."

"Wait, I have to fight you" you said with wide eyes.

"Yes" he said "you have 5 minutes to prepare" he said doing the same.

You stood there in shock. You had to fight him and win to pass, that's never gonna happen. He is so much stronger then you and has more experience. You started to stretch, still putting on the act that you were confident. You watched Aizawa roll his neck around and put some eye drops in before he pulled a hair band off his wrist and put his hair up.

You could feel your anxiety, you felt your hand shaking a bit and your stomach felt turned upside down. You took a deep breath to try and clear your mind before Aizawa called you.

"Do your best and if it becomes too much you can tap out" he said

"Thanks, but I won't be tapping out." You said talking yourself up.

You took a deep breath before he said begin. You quickly made amethyst crystals and threw them at him. He dodged them quickly and used his quirk then lunged towards you. You turned and tried to move out of the way when his scarf caught your wrist pulling you backwards. Your back hit his chest as his arm wrapped around your neck. You grabbed his arm and pulled him over you with as much force as possible. He rolled over you and hit the ground.

You grabbed his arm and pulled it behind him restraining him. You took the few seconds you had to make a sharp ruby come out of your wrist and putting it close to his neck.

"Looks like I win" you said in his ear before you heard a chuckle making you confused.

The moment he felt your wrist move away from his neck, he grabbed your arm with his free hand, pulling you over him, you making crystals come out of your knuckles as you went to punch him once you got upright again. He quickly reacted and grabbed your arm pulling it behind you, quickly pinning you to the wall and using your hand with the ruby and holding it your neck.

"Not quite" he said in your ear giving you chills down your spine.

You pushed him off of you but only for a quick second. He swiftly turned your chest to the wall pushing you on it and restraining you with his scarf.
