 "Just save all your excuses for someone that actually cares and answer my one last question. did you ever consider the fact that while you were with her, I was at home worrying that I had not loved you enough?"

         " Jack?" Y/n's voice cuts through the silence.

         Jack just hums in response, not expecting to hear her name roll off his lovers lips.

      "David told me about Emma." ( If that is your name i'm sorry)

 Jack could swear his heart is trying to make a run for it " Sweetheart, I'm sorry! I can explai-"

 "- So it's true! You have been seeing someone else. I had a feeling , you kept avoiding me, you would come home smelling like perfume." Y/n stopped

" I guess I just hoped It wasn't what I thought it was." Y/n voice comes back weaker than they wanted.

" N/n, I'm so sorry, You've been so busy with work , I didn't know what to do!" Jack pleads, desperately trying to save this relationship from his own mistakes.

"Just save all your excuses for someone that actually cares and answer my one last question. did you ever consider the fact that while you were with her, I was at home worrying that i had not loved you enough?" Y/n looked their now ex in the eyes.

"Darling please-" Jack tries.

"- Did you know why I was always up when you got home? I was worried sick I had no idea what you were doing, I needed to see that you were okay and that you got home safe. I would always make you smile when you would walk through that door, well I guess that you're happy now" Y/n wipes the tears falling down their face, moving away from Jack's attempt.

" Y/n please don't, please we can fix this." Jack begs, tears running down his own face that he can't be bothered with wiping away.

" We're done, I'll grab my stuff on Monday. Asshole" And with that Y/n leaves the apartment leaving the heartbroken cheater alone with nothing but his thoughts and a text reading:
