Jack Kelly x Reader - A Warm Night

" Are you almost done in there? " Jack calls from the living room. I chuckle and roll my eyes.

" One sec, " I call back , a smile on my lips.

I can hear Jack moving around , I don't think much of it until arms wrap themselves around my waist.

" I love you princess ," He whispers in my ear as he lays his head on my shoulder. He sways me to the music playing , it's piano. I don't think he even knows it; doesn't stop him from humming though.

" I love you too Jackie."

I finish the final touches on the hot chocolate . I close my eyes and lean into Jack's body , letting him sway me to the music. I let out a breath and continue swaying. The sound of his humming accompanied by the music filling the air.

He chuckles and kisses my shoulder, " Come on , the hot chocolate is going to get cold."

I grab my drink as he grabs his. It doesn't take Jack long to pull me into the living room. I lay next to him in the fort , staring at the fire.

Time passes and we finish our hot chocolates. Jack goes and puts our cups away , but he is quick to lay back next to me. I lay my head on my chest and close my eyes. He plays with my hair and rubs my arm with the other hand.

" I love you Jackie."

" I love you too."

And with that I drift off . The sound of the music and the fire luring me into a deep sleep.
