I never thought that this day would come; The day Jack and I get married. I look around seeing friends, family, an arch , best men and bridesmaids.

I look behind me slightly seeing Katherine and Sarah- Two of my best friends.

I feel my nerves spike as the song continues and still no sign of Jack. I lock eyes with Race; the guy who Jack was supposed to be next to.

Silence. Silence which is only broken with a sob and fast-paced footsteps.

Next thing I know I'm in the other room with tears running down my face. Race is by my side, rubbing my back and telling me it's alright.

" How's it alright?" I snap. Race pauses trying to think of anything to get me to feel better.

"He left me." Life seems to pause , more silence.

" No, maybe he just got coldfee-" Race starts.

" He LEFT me, on our wedding day; The day that was supposed to be perfect. "

Spot rushes to my side, looking at Race for a split second then back to me.

" His car is gone." Fuck .

" He really left," Race whispers.

" Hey, hey, Y/n listen to me okay? We are going to go out there and forget all of this happened. We can get super drunk, we can just ditch, we can do whatever you want, we are here for you even if he isn't right now," Spot looks me in the eyes. " Alright?"

I wipe my tears and nod my head. " Let's get out of here."

" I'll tell David, I'll be right back N/n. I promise." Race leaves the room.

More silence but this time, it's alright.
