Jack Kelly x Reader - I don't want to be your boyfriend anymore

                                               2 years after strike

" Guess who just sold their last pape Jackie," you start getting ready to tease him for taking longer than usual.

"Can we talk?" You get nervous as soon as the words leave his mouth. He looks you straight in the eye as he waits for an answer.

You just nod your head too nervous to respond. He drags you to a nearby alley. It makes you feel somewhat better,  at least he won't break up with you in front of some strangers on the street. Jack curses under his breath before he starts ,

"Y/n I have loved you since the first time I saw you. God it's been so long since then, gotta be a few years now, yeah?" He pauses only for a second but it feels like forever." But things have changed. I don't want to be your boyfriend anymore."

" Jack-" you can feel tears welling up in your eyes.

" N/n please let me finish. I want to marry you y/n. " He kneels down in front of you before asking.

"I know it ain't gonna be easy but I'm willing to take the chance, are you? Y/n L/n Will you marry me?" He holds a small ring in front of him , one that must have cost a fortune.

You pushed yourself off the ground and into his arms. Tears running down both of your faces. He cups your face and pulls you into a kiss- one which you return happily .

" Of course Jackie, god I love you so much. " You feel him slip the ring onto your finger as you two get up off of the ground.

" Hey come on, I'll race you to the lodge." You say already taking off. Jack stays back though only for a few seconds, before he races you back to the lodge.
