Chapter 5: Figuring It Out/Cream meets Tails

Back with Sonic...

Bushes Rustle.

Sonic:What's that? (Notices a note) What's this? (Picks it up and Reads it) "I noticed you've left your thinking cap behind. Try these instead, they're good for the brain. Gone Fishing, Rabbit."

He then notices a Carrot and Celery.

Sonic: Well, well, well! How very thoughtful!

Sonic takes a bite out of the carrot.

Sonic: Plain, Drain... ?

Sonic took another bite.

Sonic: Mountain, Fountain... That might be something! I think I'll try the celery.

Sonic picks up the celery and takes a bite out of it.

Sonic: Sausage, Bicycle... (Hiccups) Toothpaste, Beach... (hiccups) Wait a minute... Beach. Beach! That's it! That's it! Haha! I have to find a Bellflower. I need to make a call! (Hiccups)

Sonic dashed off.

A beach. Tails is sleeping in a lounger. He blows his Kazoo whistle while snoring. Back on Sodor, Sonic finds a Bellflower.

Sonic: Ah! (Picks it up and Tails' Shell-phone starts ringing)

Back on the Beach, Tails hears his Phone Ring.

Tails: That's my shell-phone! (Picks it up and answers) Hello?

Sonic: Tails? Tails, is that you?

Tails: Oh, hi Cuz. Are you in a tunnel? This isn't a very good line.

Sonic: Tails, where are you?

Tails: Umm... I'm in paradise! I just got on cloud nine and here I am!

Sonic: Tails, listen to me! You have to come to the Island of Sodor Right now!

Tails: Now? But I'm waiting on the perfect wave!

Sonic: Oh no, you're not! You're coming here! Do you have to help me find the source of all our family's Gold Dust!

Tails: What is the source?

Sonic: That's the trouble, Tails. I haven't a clue!

Tails: But I've used up most of my gold dust too!

Sonic: WHAT?! Then, go To Shining Time Station first, and in my signal-house, in the box, under the staircase, you'll find my Emergency whistle with the last of my supply! Please take care of this, Tails, and... Don't talk to anyone about the buffers!

Tails: What buffers?

Sonic: SHHH!

Tails: This is a Really bad Line! Hello? My shell-phone is not working properly!

Sonic: Junior you've got to come here right away! I'm counting on you!

Tails: Hello?

(Dial Tone)

Voice: We're sorry, but the number you have dialed has been disconnected.

Tails: I want my money back...

Meanwhile with Cream..

Cream: (sees Shining Time Station) Shining Time? What does that mean?

Muttski barks.

Cream: Do you want me to get off here?

She walks inside.

Cream: Where is everyone? What have you brought me here for?
