Soon, Ryuko comes through the Buffers.
Iris: (sees them) Ah-ha! There's the Blue Puffball! And look who she's with!
(Ryuko and Cosmo gasp)
Iris: Blurple! Come and Destroy!
Purple: Oh No, you do it yourself!
Black: We don't like you!
Purple: And we may not!
Black: Emphatically!

Purple: It's a good word.
Ryuko: Run, Cosmo! Quickly! And I'm going to help you!
(Shadow races aboard Cosmo)
Shadow: So will I, my Lady Cosmo! I'm not gonna let you down again!
Iris: Grrr, Who needs you, Blurple!
(Ryuko and Cosmo race off)
Sonic: Watch out for the Viaduct, it's Dangerous!

Sonic and Tails: GOLD DUST! AHHHHHHH!
Iris pursues Ryuko and Cosmo.
Iris: Now I'll get you, Shadow Hedgehog-Stone!
Shadow: No you won't, because the Magic you refuse to believe in will get the better of you!
Iris: You can run, but you can't hide! Right, Pinchy? (Laughs) Pinchy's Hungry! (Lowers claw)
Ryuko: Oooh, Get back!
(She goes faster)
Shadow: Come on, Cosmo.
Iris: Coming, Puffball! (Laughs maniacally) Look Out! (They approach a tunnel) Here I come! Duck, Pinchy! (Lowers claw and Laughs maniacally)
They keep up the Chase across the Island.
Iris: I like my lunch steamed! (Laughs maniacally and lowers claw) GRRRR!!!
They keep running and Iris clanks her claw.
Iris: You're... Pretty fast... For a puffball...
Soon, they reach the Dangerous Viaduct. It is Collapsing.
Shadow: Well, Cosmo... this is your shining time too.
Cosmo: With your help, I hope so!
(They go faster)
Ryuko: Come on, Cosmo! Little engines can do big things!
Cosmo crossed the Viaduct. Stones and bricks fell into the river below. Ryuko crossed the Viaduct just behind. More stones fell, and a big gap formed in the Tracks! Ryuko Jumped the Gap... Just in time!
CRASH!
Shadow: Well Done, Ryuko! Well Done! (Blows whistle)
(Ryuko whistles back)
Iris: Ahh! (Tries to stop) Ooh, what's going on! Whoa, Hold it! Whoaaaa! (Falls but grabs onto a sleeper with her claw) Oooh! Puffball? Teapot? TIN KETTLE?!? (Falls)
SPLASH!
(Iris landed in a Barge full of Sludge)
Iris: Oh... Oh well. Nice time of the year for a Cruise... (laughs)
Back at the Grotto...
Ryuko: But Sonic, you still don't have your gold dust!
Cosmo: I think he will soon.
Sonic: Wait a minute... "Then Watch the swirls that spin so well."
Chris: Swirls! Just like all the wonderful shavings around Cosmo when we were on the Railroad!
Cream: Is there anything else?

(Tails collects some water from a nearby well)
Sonic: Cream, put the shavings in with the water.
(She does so and mixes it well)
Shadow: Go ahead, Cream. Throw it up in the Air.

Ryuko and Cosmo: Now, Cream!
(Cream throws the shavings into the air and Gold Dust appears)
Cream: Gold Dust!
Shadow: Gold Dust!
Sonic: Yes! Haha!
Tails: Gold Dust!
(Sonic and Tails collect their Gold Dust)
Ryuko: Cosmo, you are a really helpful engine!
Cosmo: By helping each other, brings to life the magic in all of us!
Chris: Come on, Muttski. Let's have a look around.
Muttski barks happily as they leave.
Tails: Cream, I think I promised you something. Here. (gave her some Gold Dust) Take some.
Tails salutes, and then hugs Cream.
Tails: So, Cuz... How else can I help?
Sonic: You mean... you don't wanna go back to the beach?
Tails: Nah. Well, maybe for a holiday. I'm ready to work. Have you got a job for me?
Sonic: You know, Tails, there is a railroad...
Tails: With palm trees?
Sonic: One or two.
Tails: And sunshine?
Sonic: Sunny spells.
Tails: I'll take it! What's the way?
Sonic: (gave Tails a conductor cap) This is the way.
Tails put it on and blew his kazoo whistle before disappearing to go to work. Just then, the bellflower rings and Sonic picks it up.
Sonic: Hello? Oh, yes, Mrs. Noire. Good to hear from you, Ma'am. You're on your way back right now? Well, splendid news. I'll be at the sheds to welcome you. Oh yes, ma'am. Everything is under control. Goodbye, ma'am.
Sonic hung up and breathed a sigh of relief.
Sonic: (to Cream and Shadow) Well, see you in Shining Time!
With that, Sonic blew his whistle and disappeared.
Cream: Here, Grandpa. I'd like you to have this. (Gave him the gold dust Tails gave her)
Shadow: (smiles) Thank you, Cream. That's very sweet of you. Here, give me the bluebird. I think we should share it.
Cream did so and Shadow poured the sparkle dust onto it.
Shadow: Now, we'll always remember our "Shining Time" together!
Soon, everything was as it should be, happy children in Shining Time, business booming, and everything that normalcy should be. Sonic found an Ice cream in a plant food box while he was tending to the hanging plants.
Sodor. Ryuko is seen heading off into the sunset.
Sonic: And so, we've come to the happy end of our story. And it's time for all of us to go home, just like our friend Ryuko.
