Iris: Hello, Twinkle Toes-Hedgehog! Remember me? Fat Hat Noire won't have much use for you looking like that! (Laughs as Sonic tries to run but falls) Oh, I see you forgot to bring the sugar. How careless of you! Say hello to Pinchy! (Laughs maniacally)
Iris grabs him and then takes him onto the Viaduct. She then holds him hostage over the river, threatening to drop him.
Iris: (Laughs) Okay, Twinkle Toes Hedgehog. I know about the buffers!
Sonic: (sees viaduct collapsing, in thought) That's what I saw in my dream! It's coming true! My Universe is starting to crumble!
Iris: And I know about the Magic Railway, too! And when I find that engine, you and all those puffballs will be history! Tell me where the buffers are... NOW!
(Sonic reached into his tool kit and found a pair of Dikes)
Iris: You've got 10 Seconds!
(Sonic drops the Dikes on the claw and tries to reach for them)
Iris: 10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2...
(Sonic cuts a hydraulic line with the dikes)
Sonic: Too late, Iris!
Iris: GRRRR!
(Iris flings Sonic and he lands on some soft sacks near the windmill)
Sonic: (notices his landing spot) Did you lay this all out for me? Well, you must have known I was coming! How kind of you! Oh, I'm at the windmill! Now that's what I call a perfect Landing.
(Sonic gets up and puts his hat back on)
Sonic: This must be the clue to the source of the Gold dust. (Reads) "Stoke up the Magic in the Mountain and the lady Cosmo will smile... Then watch the swirls that spin so well."
(The words then disappeared)
Sonic: But where's the writing gone?
Meanwhile with the diesels.
Purple: So boss...
Black: How come you let Twinkle toes Hedgehog escape?
Iris: Oh, that. Well, I did it on purpose. You know, I was testing him to see if he really Could escape!
Purple: Liar, Liar.
Black: Pants on Fire!
Purple: Does she wear pants?
Black: Nah, train pants.
Iris: Alright! Playtime's over, Blurple!
Black and Purple: Uh oh...
Iris: Now it's time for the next lesson. I call it: "How to stop being stupid!"
(She Laughs but her claw hits the coal hopper and she is buried in coal, the other engines saw this and laughed)
Iris: This is really gonna ruin my facial...
Black and Purple: Oh...
Muffle Mountain.
Chris: Bet you can't climb that tree!
Cream: Heh.
(Cream climbs the tree)
Chris: Heh.
Cream: (comes down) See?
Chris: Where did you learn to do that?
Cream: On the Fire Escape.
Chris: Oh, I didn't introduce myself. I'm Chris.
Cream: I'm Cream! Do you live around here?
Chris: Yes. My mom and Dad run the Stables.
Shadow: Good Morning, Chris.
Chris: Good Morning, Mr. Stone! I'm running into Shining Time. Could Cream come with me if she'd like to?
Cream: I'd like to!
Shadow: Sure. She can go. Be back by sunset, Cream.
Cream: Do you want to come too?
Shadow: I... I never go there now.
Cream: Bye, Grandpa.
Chris: So, have you ever ridden a horse before?
Cream: No.
Soon, the two were out riding.
Chris: I always wanted to go this way. I'm following some shadowy lines I've seen on a map. They look like railroad tracks without any rails!
Meanwhile in the Workshop...
Shadow: Well, Cosmo... what are we to do? It all seemed so much easier when Maria and I were children.
