That's their father? He had a gaze that pierces right into your soul and an aura that can make someone cower in fear. Miss Aphrodite really hit a jackpot with this one.
He stared at me for a few seconds before he turned to the twins. "Why didn't you guys report to me after you came back from the magical beast's forest?" They just got back?
"You were gonna find out anyways. It didn't make a difference" Matteo said in a low voice while looking away and he sighed.
"How was it?"
"Okay, I guess"
"Don't just give me that. Give me details"
"What do you want to know? That we got attacked by weird creatures? Fine. We got attacked by weird creatures" Romeo said in a frustrated tone and their father frowned.
If that is even possible, his aura became thicker and Romeo looked away. "Sorry"
"Since you have enough strength to talk and give an attitude, go back to the mountains and continue your training. You are not leave until nightfall" It was barely audible but I could hear Romeo scoff before he turned away.
"And Matteo, you too. Go join your brother."
"But I didn't say anything though"
"You are not to be goofing off while he's out training. You know the rules"

"If you want to talk back, I can make it 3 days" Matteo didn't say anything instead he looked away and sighed. "Yes fa-"
"Now, now. Dear, they just got back this morning. Give them a break" Miss Aphrodite said as she came out with some Band-Aids and 4 glasses of Lemonade's.
She gave him a kiss on the cheek and I could feel the anger from him disappear in an instant. She walked over to us with a smile and set the tray of lemonade down then handed each of us one. Including Rosa who was cowering at the back of the tree over there.
"Honey you shouldn't spoil them too much"
"I'm their mother. If I'm not to spoil them, then who will?" He sighed and looked at his watch.
