Matteo's POV

I am sitting in my office while reviewing some paperwork when there was a knock on the door.
The person didn't even let me answer as they already opened the door and let themselves in.

I didn't bother to look up as I sighed already knowing who it is.
"What do you want"

"I just wanted to bring you food. You've been working non stop for the past few days" Rosa said.

I looked at her and she smiled then set the tray of food on the table.
"Great now you can go"

"No. I'm gonna feed you till you finish every single one of it" I sighed already feeling frustrated.

*Why don't you just kill her. She's useless to us anyways*

"When she went to the human territory some years ago, her mom actually gained a lot of power so we can use her if we're gonna do anything in the human territory"

*Bruh, you know her mother is gonna come up with some crazy request like marry her and I'll do whatever you ask*

"I know. That's why Romeo and I already have a plan to avoid that so it's best if we keep her for a while"

*Whatever. Do what you want*

I rolled my eyes and snapped out of my thoughts when Rosa came all up in my face and I cringed.
"Okay, first of all. Back tf up"

"Sorry" she mumbled and went back.

"I'm just here to make sure you eat"

"Whether I eat or not, is none of your business"

"Matty, you know how much I like you guys and every since Lilian left, you've been very indifferent towards me. Remember all our childhood memories. You, Romeo and I were so inseparable until Lilian-"

she flinched and jumped back

"Get out!!"

"Matty"

She huffed and stomped out then slammed the fucking door shut.

"Fuck me" I said with a sigh and closed my eyes.

I put my head back and pinched the bridge of my nose to calm my anger.
Suddenly, flashes of Lilian started playing through my head.

It was all our happy memories, well my happy memories.

I open my eyes as I heard someone come into the office.
"Hey"

"Hey" it was Romeo. He got me coffee and I mumbled a thanks before I drank it.

"What's wrong with you"

"Nothing. What happened at the borders"

"Slight rogue problem."

"Do-" I was about to say some before I heard a knock at the door.

"Come in" I said and Victor walked in with Gab and Rosa trailing behind.
