Chapter 2 - Meetings?

I felt dizzy, cold, confused. Everything was black. "Ngh.." I don't feel right. What happened to me? I was able to slowly lift my head up from it's position. "Wh-what..? Where am I?" I spoke. I woke up with my head resting on a hard wooden desk. My body feels...heavy. I look around me to see a classroom. I don't remember coming here. "What the hell is going on!?" 

I finally got up from my seat. This has to be the weirdest classroom I have ever seen in my life. Hang on. The windows are bolted with metal plates! What kind of school is this!? I turn back to the desk I fell asleep on. There is a note, I take a closer look at it. "An orientation guide..?" I thought out loud. "It's some kind of cheep-looking pamphlet. There's something written on it.." I read what the mysterious note says. 

"The next semester is about to start. Starting today, this school will be your entire world."

What the hell is this!? I swear if this is a prank or something, someone is gonna get a beating. I look at the clock above the chalk board. "Just gone past 8 o'clock huh? Shouldn't school have started by now?" I wondered. I stood there in silence, confused about this situation for a few minutes. "Ok umm.. So what must of happened is that I passed out in the hall due to panicking so much, then someone found me and carried me here. Yeah that must be it. I'm in a classroom at Hope's Peak." I was proud of myself for figuring it out but something still didn't feel right. "Wouldn't they have taken me to the nurses office or something?" All this did was make me even more confused. I turned my head back to the desk. "Hang on. Where's my backpack!?" I spoke out loud. Great. Now I'm stuck in this school and I have none of my things. None of this made any sense at all. I decided to head back to the main hall. It's already past the meeting time but hopefully someone will still be there. 

I exited the classroom and was met by a hallway covered in purple lights. "What kind of school is this..?" I wondered to myself. Every step I took further into the school just made me more confused. It's like a maze in here. A maze with a weird design and strange colours. I approached a door that I think leads to the main hall. Nerves immediately filled my body, I find it difficult talking to people I don't know. That was one of the main reasons I didn't want to come here. I took one deep breath and slowly opened the door. 

I was met with everyone else. 14 other people who I assumed were the other students. All of them had their eyes on me. I just wanted to run out of there but I just stayed still and quiet. "Woah, hey! Another new kid?" An unknown male voice said. So they are the other new students. "S-so you guys are all-" I started but was cut off. 

"Yeah.. We're all new here. Today's supposed to be our first day of class." Said a female voice. 

"So counting her, that makes 15 of us. Do you guys suppose there is another person?" Questioned another unknown voice.

I still stood there holding the door. I felt as if I was frozen in place, I didn't know what else to do. 

"Are you going to continue standing there, shaking helplessly or are you actually going to come in and introduce yourself?" Said a tall, blond haired boy. 

  "A-ah! Sorry. I'm Y/N L/N. Umm it's nice to meet you guys?" This is the most awkward I have ever been in my life. What else would you say in that situation? I finally closed the door and properly stepped into the room. "Sorry I'm late, I think I fell asleep or something. To be honest, I don't know what on earth is going on." 

"So you fell asleep too?" Said a boy with big, brown hair. I was about to answer but a girl dressed in black decided to speak up.

"Things just keep getting curiouser and curiouser.." She wondered. 

The group conversation was soon interrupted by another person entering the room. And of course, everyone had their eyes on him. 

"Um.. how's it going? My name's Makoto Naegi." He spoke. Sorry I'm late. A bunch of stuff happened, and then all of a sudden I was just...asleep."
