Solana's POV

I walked in my house with Kaash on my shoulder before sitting her on the couch. As I looked for a blanket in the closet, I came across the stuffed animal Vic had gave me.

After I covered Kaash up, I walked upstairs and laid down holding the stuffed koala. I felt tears fall from my face and cried off and on until sunrise.

"I'm really never gonna see her again." I whispered to myself.

I finally got up and walked downstairs and scavenged through cabinets looking for liquor.

"Peach Crown? It'll do for now." I said before walking upstairs.

Megan's POV

"Brandy i'm telling you, she said Victoria's gone. Plus, she was acting the same way she acted when my mother died."

Megan's POV

"Hey Megan, how you been doin?" asked my auntie over the phone.

"I've been good lately, just getting through school and writing some more songs."

"That's real good, i'm proud of you Meg. Anyways, I called to tell you something important and you may wanna sit down for this one." She stated sounding more serious.

"Okay, what's going on?" I questioned getting worried.

"It's your momma, your uncle found her on her kitchen floor unconscious. He took her to the hospital so we're still waiting for the news, but the doctors think she might be dead. They said she had a brain tumor and she never told anyone about it."

My breath had caught in my throat while the only sound I could release was a choked out squeal. I hung up the phone before she could say anything else.

I almost forgot to breathe, but a knock on the door reminded me that I need air to live.

Taking time to wipe my face off, I looked out the peephole and opened the door revealing Y/N.

"Hey Y/N/N." I said hugging her and moving out the way.

"Hey Megmeg, you okay?" she asked.

I shook my head.

"No, but I really don't wanna talk right now."

"Girl, sit yo big baby ass on the couch and tell me what's wrong." she stated receiving a glare from me.

"Nah i'm serious now. What the fuck is going on? You ain't even laugh at that like you usually do."

"I sai- fine. If your nosey ass must know, my aunt just called and told me that my mother is d-dead from a brain t-tumor." I said feeling the tears come back to my eyes.

I felt myself getting dizzy, but I didn't notice that Y/N had already picked me up and put me on the couch.

She laid my head on her chest and rocked me back and forth while rubbing my ass.

Damn it... she's trying to put me to sleep.

When I woke up, Y/N was gone.

I grabbed my phone and my keys before driving to her house. When I got there, I knocked on the door and didn't receive an answer.

I knocked about 3 more times before the door cracked open, but I still didn't see Y/N.

When I looked at the living room and kitchen, everything was destroyed. The tv was smashed, the picture frames were broken in pieces, the microwave was on the floor.

I heard a thud upstairs and ran to find Y/N throwing and punching more things.

"HEY HEY Y/N/N stop it! It's okay. It's gonna be okay." I whispered trying to calm her down.

*End of Flashback*

"Maybe you should try confronting her again but this time, just be there for her. Don't bring up any shit related to Victoria girl."

"You might be right Brandy, okay I'll see you later. Love you, bye." I said into the phone.

I grabbed my things and headed out the door to try and get through to Y/N again.

"I hope i'm not making the worst choice of my life right now." I whispered to myself.

When I arrived at her house, I walked up to the door hearing nothing except, "Shit. Ouch. Why me? Fuck life."

"Y/N/N? Why is your door open?" I asked out loud.

"Why are you in my house? I wanted fresh air alone."

"I can't let you go through this alone, not this time." I remarked.

"Whatever Megan." she mumbled loud enough for me to hear.

"Get up. C'mon and get off the ground. At least sit on the couch." I stated trying to help her up.

I put in Rush Hour and gave her a bowl of ice cream from her freezer.

"I don't need you to cater to me, I'm capable of getting things for myself. Also, you're not slick trying to work your way back into my life like everything is okay just because Victoria is dead."

"Stop talking like that Y/N. You will never get anywhere trying to play it off like that. Have some fucking respect for yourself because you know she meant the world to you. Don't start this shit with me. I'm not trying to work my way into your life either. I never left. You just pushed me away the more that I tried to fix my mistakes. It's not gonna happen again. You always push everyone away when something doesn't meet your standards. Nobody is perfect Y/N and the sooner you realize that, the less stress that you'll have in your life."

She looked hurt, but she also seemed to be processing what I'd just said.

I walked upstairs to her guest room and put my bag on the bed.

"This is gonna take some serious time to work with." I sighed laying back on the bed.
