Kit, Beatrice is crying again" Klaus mumbled walking from the tent with the child in his arms.
"Oh no, she's hungry again isn't she" Kit smiled taking her from Klaus arms "she can eat some of the bananas over there, near to the tent Klaus" Kit smiled tying the knot on the rope as she pulled on it to check the tightness "perfect!"
"This boat needs to be ready by tomorrow, if not we will have to wait another year" Violet added on securing the sail onto the mast with her favourite knot as Kit nodded in agreement.
"Yes" the now four year old sunny smiled causing the three of them to laugh "her pronunciation of words is certainly improved" Kit smiled.
The cries of Beatrice suddenly grew as she attempted to go towards the food "she's certainly hungry. Klaus could you give her the bananas please" Kit sighed handing her daughter into Klaus's hands.
The last knot was secured by sunny as she pulled the remaining two ropes together.
"Done!" Sunny shouted, a smile spread across her face.
"And just in time too- the sun is beginning to set" Kit smiled.
Picking the youngest Baudelaire up from the water sighing as she was soaked from head to toe in water.
After the dinner which Sunny had made they headed of to the two tents which they had set up properly- Klaus and Violet in one and Kit, Beatrice and Sunny in the other.
As she pulled the blanket over herself, Beatrice and Sunny she couldn't help wonder how long the year had been. Tomorrow was the day they could go back, back home and return to where it all had ended at the Hotel. Her hope of Dewey being alive had burned out and as the darkness slowly took over as she fell asleep slowly a few tears formed in her eyes

The sun slowly rose creating streaks of gold, red and pink across the sky, the shadows of the three siblings were visible inside of the tents as well as Kit who stood outside of the boat adjusting the sail.
"The wind is perfect and the coastal shelf seems to be flooding now" Kit smiled as Violet walked from the tent with the youngest Snicket in her arms.
"And Beatrice is still fast asleep" Violet added on with a relief, a cotton satchel hung from her shoulders with food they would need.
"It should take an hour more for the coastal shelf to completely fill, hopefully the wind should stay like this until then" Kit replied, her hair tied into a very short ponytail.
"Ahoyy!" The youngest Baudelaire shouted running from the tent a smile on her face.
"Shh, sunny. We can't have Beatrice wake up now otherwise she will cry" Violet whispered laughing quietly at her enthusiasm.
"Ok" Sunny whispered back quite loudly.
"Everything we need is in either Violet's satchel or yours Kit' Klaus said appearing from the tent.
"What about mother's and father's diary..." Violet asked turning to Klaus before then turning to Kit.
"Perhaps it shall be best if we leave it here, any adventurers that come hear can then know of their adventures as well as could help them" Kit smiled back and Violet nodded
"Perhaps that's for the best"
First Sunny climbed into the front of the boat with Klaus and Violet who held Beatrice behind her.
"The coastal shelf is flooded!" Klaus smiled as the water poured violently over the shelf.
Kit immediately let go of the rope which kept the boat on the coast of the island as the wind began pushing the boat forward violently, a smile growing as the boat began to move toward the open ocean.
