"If he doesn't stop looking at you I won't be able to hold myself back," Harry grumbled, stirring his potion a little too hard.

So, potions with Slughorn was going okay until Draco sauntered in. Late. Because now he's had his eyes on me the whole time. And obviously, Harry didn't like that at all. Not one bit.

"Harry, you're going to burn yourself," I warned him, urging him to turn his attention back to his potion. "Just don't give him your attention. If he sees that it's bothering you it's going to get worse."

"It is bothering me, Hazel," Harry retorted.

"Hey," I turned his chin to me and kissed him. "You have all of me. I don't see anyone other than you."

"Good," He huffed over at Malfoy who was now scowling at Harry.

The tension in the room was so thick, it would require more power than a knife to cut through it.

"Harry, you're aware your book has... notes in it right?"

"Hm? Oh..." Harry glanced down at his potions book. "It's... nothing really. Probably just an older student's notes. They seem to be working though."

"Yeah. Your potion looks perfect, Harry," I praised. "Really. It looks really good."

"Let's hope Slughorn thinks so too."

"He'd be blind not to."

Slughorn circled around to check potions and sure enough. He dropped a leaf into Harry's and it singed to ash and shriveled into the potion.

"Merlin's beard! It's perfect!"

I watched proudly as Harry was led up to the front of the classroom and presented the small vial of felix felicis. I saw Malfoy out of the corner of my eye roll his cold grey eyes. I just smirked and turned my attention back to Harry.

After class, Harry wanted to speak with Slughorn about something. Which was odd. But he told me not to wait up for him, so I left after making sure my station was clean. I then left the room and planned to find Neville, but I was rudely interrupted.

Malfoy. Figures.

"So, I see how this is gonna go," Malfoy sneered. "You're gonna deny your feelings and have all of your little boyfriends fight your fights for you so you don't get in trouble for it."

"Last time I checked I played you, Malfoy. There weren't ever any feelings involved," I growled and tried to walk past him.

But then he gently slipped his hand into mine from behind. And it sent chills all over my body.

I grabbed my wand with my free hand and shot a knockback jinx at him. Sending him clear to the other end of the hallway and slumped against the wall.

"Leave me alone!" I warned him. "Next time I won't be so nice!"

The door to Slughorn's classroom opened and Harry came out, looking confused as ever.

"Malfoy? Hazel, is everything okay? What did he do?"

"I took care of it," I growled at the blonde boy and pushed my boyfriend's chest. "Really. I'm okay. Come on. Next class."

"Actually, Hazel," Harry stopped me in the hallway. "I have to talk to Dumbledore."

"Dumbledore?" I raised an eyebrow. "Something wrong? Don't tell me you're going to go telling him about what Draco's been doing."

"No, though I won't say I haven't thought about it," He scoffed. "No. It's about... Slughorn. Dumbledore and I have made up a plan for something that I really can't tell anyone else. So. I'll see you after? Quidditch tryouts? You'll be there, right?"
