In the silence, footsteps echoed off the barren hall as Sam escorted Dream to his cell. The tension was thick was the lava wall slowly drained into drainage pipes to show a lonely cell. Well, it was more like a box. With a rough shove, Dream shuffled onto the platform that soon started moving. Sam stayed in the room and watched as the platform moved it's way to the box. He had already ordered Dream to set his spawn when he got there and asked Punz and Sapnap to go around and break all other beds on the server, which they would be replaced, and to guard Spawn until Dream accidentally, or on purpose, died. They did that in an effort to keep Dream imprisoned.
The lava had come back up and covered up the opening. With one last look at Sam, Dream turned his gaze to the little room and, although not having much in it, examined it with a sharp look. There was a chest in the left corner. Above it was a redundant bit of glowstone, as he was surrounded by lava. A lectern with a book on it next to the chest and cauldron next to the lectern. A clock hung on the wall next to the cauldron. A pit of water sat in the opposite corner to the right. Dream figured that the bed would be up there. He defeatedly shuffled over to it and sure enough, there was a bed. With the intention to sleep, he reached up to the bed. His spawn was set. There was no escaping now.
Dream's foot slipped into the water. Having successfully jostled Dream, he sighed in defeat and put his head on the warm wall. Defeat seemed to be the recurring theme to Dream. In an effort of not wanting a wet sock he took his shoes and socks off. He walked over to the chest and opened it. It was full of books, empty ones, in fact. Glancing at the lectern he noticed a couple pencils. With a final look at the clock, indicating that it was nighttime, he slid down the wall and stared at the ceiling until sleep took him.

When Dream woke up his back ached. His senses slowly came back to him and he opened his eyes. A few raw potatoes sat on the ground. With a bit of popping from his aching back, he got up and grabbed the potatoes. Let's just say he was not very enthusiastic about eating raw potatoes. His stomach growled, insinuating that it didn't care what the food was. Eh, he's had worse. Slipping his mask off he took a bite and his face scrunched up. It didn't taste too back but not the best. He already hated this with every fiber of his being. Who knew that even gods could fall.
Meanwhile, outside the prison, there was a breath of relief. Turns out, it's pretty peaceful when you get rid of the thing causing conflict. Well, kinda. The things causing conflict sat in the hands of a certain Tommy Innit. Dream was only part of the equation.
Feeling like nothing in the world could make him unhappy at this very moment. Tommy and Tubbo stared at the discs they had fought so hard and so long to obtain.
"Tubbo, get a jukebox!" Tommy exhaled a gasp of pure excitement and happiness. Tubbo raced to grab a jukebox from his enderchest, placing it next to their bench, the last one there was lost somehow. Slipping into the jukebox, 'Cat' began to play. Not a word was spoken between the two boys as they listened to both 'Cat' and 'Mellohi'. The thought didn't occur to them that there was so much blood attached to the two discs that they shouldn't enjoy finally having them.
"We did it, Tubbo, we did it," tears slipped down Tommy's face as he beamed at Tubbo,"We beat Dream."
"That we did, Tommy," Tubbo was also crying when they embraced. They giggled happily as they hugged, 'Cat' playing in the background.

Life was great for most people.
Techno didn't know how he felt about Dream's imprisonment. His mind was divided and so were the voices. On one hand, he was glad that he wouldn't have to fight in another war for now. On the other hand, he felt bad that he didn't honor the favor his often partner in crime had asked for.
Punz and Sapnap chatted while they waited.
Philza and Techno stayed in the tundra.
Niki's bakery was booming now that everyone was peaceful.
Bad and Skeppy are doing their weird egg thing.
Fundy and Ghostbur bonded a little more. Glatt made sure to groan at all the sappy stuff.
Sam did his own thing being Sam Nook and kept his Warden's eye on Dream.
Quackity and Karl were back to their usual shenanigans.
Ranboo was still worried about Dream and his memory. Him and Puffy talked more.
George, Sapnap, and Ant re-dubbed themselves the Peacemakers.
Tommy and Tubbo listened to their music discs and watch the sunset.
The outlook on life was optimistic. The sun shone through the clouds, the birds chirped, and there was a gentle breeze. Yes, this is what they fought for. Peace.
Let's see how long that lasts. :)

AHHHHHH I wrote this in a burst of productivity and song vibes! Took about 2 hours to write and the story itself has 875 words. Be nice to me I don't write much but do give me nice, constructive criticism and don't expect this to have anywhere near frequent updates.
Thank you for your time :) - MoonShadow
