Y/N'S POV

It was finally adoption day

I ran to Sherb's house

"Sherb!"

"Huh?"

"It's time! I'm your parent now!"

"Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!"

"Calm down Sherbie"

"Ok packasnackamama"

"Uhh what?"

"Oh ya I is going to call you packasnackamama now"

"Why?"

"Because you pack the snacks and you is my mama"

"Ok"

"Is there going to be a party?"

"Yep!"

-at the party-

Everyone from I/n is here

Marshal looks so sad though

"Hey, Marshal?"

"Yeah...?"

"You just seem so sad"

"That obvious, huh?"

"Yeah..."

"I'm so sorry you have to see me this way, y/n"

"Hey, don't feel bad, everyone has to feel bad at some point and there's no point in hiding it or keeping it in or even apologizing for it"

"Thanks"

A slight smile appeared on his face but I can tell that he's forcing it

"Look Marshal, if you need to then you can just let it all out"

"Thanks, y/n I don't want to get emotional here but I'll let it out after the party, I may need a shoulder to cry on though, quite literally"

"That's ok"

-after the party-

Marshal walked up to me

"Err I'm ready to let it all out now..."

"Ok, your house?"

He nodded

We walked to his house

"Well, Marshal you can let it out now"

Marshal began crying, worse than before, he hugged me, tight tighter than anyone had ever hugged me before

Calmly I began stroking his head, eventually I decided to hug him,we cuddled for a while, it was great

"Thanks y/n"

"Aw come on I didn't do much"

"No you helped me, a lot"

I smiled at his cuteness, I felt the sudden urge to kiss him but I couldn't bring myself to, not because I was scared, though that was true, but because I knew it wasn't a good time knowing he was just getting over Diana

It was this moment when I realized that we had both rolled onto the floor

Before I could think of anything else, his lips pressed against mine, I blushed deeply but leaned into the kiss

Once it was over he smiled at me, blushing slightly

"M-marshal you, I , we!"

I couldn't say words probably because I needed to calm down

Marshal leaned in and kissed me again

"You don't need to speak y/n" he said calmly

"But, Marshal I uhh is this, are we...?"

"Maybe, I need time to get over her and think about it"

"Ok"

"Y/n..."

"Hm?"

"Remember how nervous you were when we met?"

"Unfortunately"

"At the time, I remember thinking about how cute you were flustered"

"I-uhh you what!?"

I blushed furiously

"Yeah, like that"

He chuckled

"S-stop t-teasing me!"

"Ok but can I just say that your face has a lovely shade of crimson today?"

"Marshal!"

"Uhh, y/n?"

"Yeah...?"

"I don't know how, but I've never noticed that you're I'll a radiator before"

I blushed further

He chuckled some more
