I opened my eyes, it's been a while since my father moved onto this island, he's adjusting well.

I yawned and looked next to me in the bed, I watched as the small squirrel slept next to me. He began to wake up, I continued watching him, he opened his eyes and we made eye contact.

"Morning, y/n"

"Morning, Marshal"

We cuddled for....well I don't know how long exactly but it lasted a while.

"We should probably plan this wedding"

"Yeah fair point Marshal, I can do it all though"

"Oh come on Y/n, you can't do it all yourself"
