I walked into Sherb's house, it looked cute that's the only word you could use to describe it really

"Oh, hey y/n!"

He greets me, with a smile

"Hi Sherb!"

"So what brings you here, y/n?

"Oh, well I wanted to welcome you to the island and also I wanted to get to know you better"

"You wanna know my backstory?"

"Yes, exactly!"

"Well it all started when I was 5, both my parents died leaving me to be raised by my grandma"

"Oh, so you're an orphan god I feel so bad for you"

"It's fine, can I continue?"

I nod

"I was happy growing up with Grandma but when I was 8 she died too, leaving me alone"

God I feel so bad I want to say something but I'll let him finish first

"Then, I was put in an orphanage but I wasn't there long because this guy came to adopt me, he was nice but I hated how much he wanted me to be..."

He looked down sadly

"He wanted me to be...a...he wanted... He wanted me to be in a K-pop band! So he sent me to this school, K-pop Academy, I absolutely hated it there. When I showed up they said: I think we can pull this one off as a girl"

He looked up at me

"So, they made me wear the girl's uniform, skirt included, I didn't really pay attention because I hated it so much but there was one person..."

He looked happier

"Flurry, she shared her snacks with me and eventually helped me escape, and from there I've just been island hopping, hoping to find someone nice to adopt me"

He was finished

"Wow..."

"Flurry as in the hamster, right?"

"She lives here"

"Great, now all I need is someone to adopt me and this could be my forever home!"
