Y/N'S POV

The next day

I woke up. This time Marshal was in my arms. I looked down at him, he is so adorable. His eyes opened.

"Good morning, y/n"

"Good morning, Marshal."

We didn't say another word for a while. Not until I said something else.

"The wedding is nearly perfect."

"That's good. Will it be ready for next week?"

"I think maybe even before then."

"That's great. God, y/n I'm so proud of you."

"Thanks. Are you doing anything today?"

"Not much. I think I might go visit Sherb. Maybe your dad too."

"Oo. Can you ask dad about his love life? He might tell you more about it than he told me."

"He's in a relationship with Diana...?"

"She's pregnant and wants  to get married but he wants to break up because she's Y'know, Diana. And he likes someone else. But that's all I know."

"Fine. I'll ask. This is the last time I help you with your weird matchmaking stuff."

"Thanks"

We both eventually left the house. I went to go and continue the wedding preparation. And Marshal......

MARSHAL'S POV

After y/n left to plan. I walked towards my future son's house. He's pretty much my son now anyway. We get along pretty well. He's a good kid. I arrived at his house and knocked on the door.

"Oh. Hi, Dad."

Oh god he called me dad. Oh my god.

"Hi Sherb. I just wanted to check up on you. I don't really have anything to do today."

"Ok. Do you want to come in..?"

"I would love to."

We both walked into the house. Flurry was laying on the floor, staring at the ceiling.

"Umm. Is Flurry alright?"

"Yes! I'm fine! Hi Marshal."

"She's bored."

"Makes sense."

We walked to where Flurry was, in the centre of the room and sat on the carpet beside her.

"How are you, Marshal?"

"I'm alright thanks, Flurry. How are you?"

"Bored!"

"I can see that."

We sat and talked for about an hour and a half.

"Well kids. I think I'm gonna go and see Rodeo now."

"Ok dad. Bye"

"Ok, bye Marshal!"

"Goodbye kids. Have a good rest of the day."

"We will."

I set off to Rodeo's house. It wasn't that far. I arrived there in less than a minute. And knocked on his door.

"Hello. Marshal."

"Hi Rodeo. Can I please come inside? I don't have much to do today and was wondering if we could have a chat?"

"Yes. That's fine. Come on inside."

Rodeo definitely sounded terrifying. But once you got to know him he's a really nice guy.

"I heard you've been struggling lately. I assume it's Diana?"

"Yes. She's... a lot."

"Mm. That's why I broke up with her. Well she cheated on me. "

"That's not right. I don't want to admit it. But I hate her."

"Me too. But you definitely have it worse than me. You got her pregnant."

"Yep. Maybe I can just leave her after the baby's born. I can take the baby with me."

"Hmm. If she let's you. Anyways is there any other reason you want to leave her?"

"Well there is. But I doubt you want to hear about my problems."

"Oh come on, of course I do Rodeo."

"I'm falling for someone else."

"Who?"

"Someone on the island."

Rodeo got a small smile on his face as he blushed.

"You're In love aren't you?"

"I wouldn't go that far. They definitely make me happy."

"That's good. You should be happy."

"Thank you, Marshal. You're not going to tell y/n about this are you? You know how she can be with gossip."

"I'm not telling her anything you're not comfortable with."

"Thank you."

"Anyway. I'm sorry but I should get back home now, Rodeo."

"Alright. Thank you for listening, Marshal."

"Your welcome."

"By the way... I'm glad you're marrying my daughter. You are very good for her."

"Thank you so much. I try my best and I do love her very much. "

"I can tell. Goodbye, Marshal. I'll see you soon."

"Goodbye, Rodeo. See you another time."

With that I headed home.
