I was just walking, walking around an empty space on the island it had been a day since Marshal had asked me out, god how excited I was for the date- but wait no I'm getting ahead of myself

I was walking around an empty space, an empty space next-door to Chevre 's house, then I noticed that the space had been bought by someone named Ed hmm he could be interesting

-fast forward to a week after Ed moved in-

ED'S POV

I had just walked out of my house, I have been on I/n for a week and I was really starting to get used to it, the kids loved me and I have even begun to fall in love

"Hi Ed"

Chevre's face lit up a little when she began speaking to me

"Uhh hi C-Chevre"

She chuckled slightly at my embarrassment

Y/n tapped me to on my shoulder

"Hey, Ed can I speak to you over there for a sec?"

"Uhh sure...?"

She took me over to the able sisters,the clothing store close to my house

"Ed, look it's obvious that you like her so just ask her out, I know it's kinda soon but trust me on this"

"Ugh...fine"

"Ohmygoshhhh!"

"I just didn't think you would!"

I approached Chevre, I liked to act strong but... I'm so freaking nervous

"Oh, hi again Ed"

"I was just wondering if you wanted to go out later?"

She began blushing

"Sure!"

I walked back to the able sisters where y/n was waiting

"Did you do it?! What did she say?!"

"She said yes!"

"Yay!"

"When's your date with Marshal?"

"Saturday"

"At the restaurant?"

"Yep"

"Huh same as my date with Chevre"

"Double date?"

"I'll ask Chevre, you ask Marshal"

"Ok"

Ring ring ring ring

"Hello?"

"Just wondering, could we do a double date? Ed just asked Chevre out"

"Yeah, if Ed and Chevre want to"

"Thanks, love you, bye"

"Chevre said it was ok- err you look flustered, you good?"
