"Aw," Fred and George cooed, the two of them clasping their hands together dramatically and making kissing noises.
"Say y/n, I think we make such a good team," Fred impersonated Ron, batting his eyelashes at George.
"Oh for sure we do! Let's just make out already!" George replied in a high-pitched voice which I assumed was meant to sound like me.
"Piss off," Ron groaned, rolling his eyes.
I nodded to agree with Ron for once. "It's not like that."
"Whatever you say," Ginny chimed in, looking the both of us up and down. "Whatever you say."
Ron shot his siblings another look before he got up from his seat and marched over to the sink to clear his dishes.
"Ron, I'd appreciate it if you stayed until everyone was finished," Molly called out, glancing over her shoulder at him.
"I'll come back," Ron shot, not stopping to look at her while he spoke and instead marching up the stairs dramatically. "Just give me a minute."
Molly turned back to her children with a disappointed expression. "Just when he was acting fine, you three had to go and piss him off again," she sighed, shaking her head.
Fred, George, and Ginny all exchanged mischievous looks before taking another bite of cake.
Soon after, Ron came bounding back down the stairs, looking unusually smug.
"What?" Fred asked, wrinkling his nose at his brother. "Why the sudden mood change?"
"Nothing," Ron exhaled, still smirking to himself. "Glad you guys are enjoying the cake."
Fred turned to me for some kind of explanation, but I was just as in the dark as he was. I shook my head and shrugged, while Fred pursed his lips is dissatisfaction.
"Time for bed everyone," Molly announced after everyone had finished up their piece of cake. "Got to go to bed early; tomorrow's Christmas."
Everyone agreed and all of the Weasley's kissed their mom on the cheek before heading upstairs to their rooms.
"Night, mum," Ron muttered, turning to face his brothers. "Night guys."
"Night Ron," the twins answered in unison, watching him skeptically as he ran up the stairs in what seemed a very frantic manner.
"Thanks for the cake, you guys," Molly thanked us, winking before we bounded up to Ron's room ourselves.
I gathered a few of my things and headed over to the bathroom to get ready. Just as I twisted the handle and pushed the door open, Ron slipped through the crack and in before me, smirking deviously.
"Ron," I groaned, stepping back and rolling me eyes as he taunted me from inside.
"Too slow," was all he argued with, smiling at me one last time before slamming the door shut in my face. "Better luck next time."
"Ron," I sighed in annoyance, dropping my head back and leaning against the wall while I waited for him to get ready. "I'm so tired. Please just let me get ready."
"You'll have to wait your turn," came his snarky voice from through the door.
After what seemed like forever, the door finally creaked open and Ron poked his head through the crack, just enough so he could see me.
"Finally," I sighed, approaching the door.
"Ron!" came Fred and George's aggravated voices suddenly as they ascended the stairs. Ron threw the door open violently, grabbed my arm, and yanked me into the bathroom with him, shutting it as quick as he could.
