"Good morning!" Ron called out, waltzing into my room very early on the morning of March 1.

"Morning," I groaned, squinting my eyes before they fully adjusted to the light.

"Well, don't you have something to wish me?" he asked, folding his arms across his chest as I was still trying to wake up.

"Um," I mumbled, rubbing my eyes with my hands. "Do I?"

He shifted his weight to the side and stared at me expectantly.

"Oh!" I exclaimed, my brain finally waking up as everything clicked. "Happy birthday, Ron."

"Happy birthday, y/n," he smiled slyly, his smirk alone giving me butterflies. "Get up and get ready. Our moms want us home soon to start setting everything up."

"Okay, okay," I grinned. "What time is it?"

"Eleven," he said, glancing over at the clock on the table beside my bed.

"And what time is the party?" I yawned.

"Seven."

"We have so much time," I sighed, remembering exactly what was going to go down at the party tonight with Lavender and Ron. I'm not really in a hurry.

"No, we don't," he shot, marching over to the side of the bed. "Get up."

We traveled back to the burrow for the second time this year, Ron yelling at me to hurry up the entire trip over.

"Hello!" Ron called out once we found ourselves standing in his familiar fireplace. "Anyone home?"

"Oh, you're back!" Molly cried, running into the room with her arms extended out towards us. "Happy birthday!"

"Thanks," we smiled, each taking a turn to hug her.

"Eighteen, I can't believe it," she sighed, shaking her head. "Did you like that picture I put in the letter?"

"Yes, mum, we loved it," Ron said flatly, rolling his eyes and laughing. "Should we start setting up?"

"Oh, that'd be great," Molly nodded, turning around so we followed her into the kitchen. She gestured toward the table which had all sorts of decorations spread out over it. "Here's what we have. I'll leave it to you both to set it up how you'd like."

We nodded and began searching through the different items we were provided with.

"Streamers, balloons," Ron listed off as he picked through everything. "Good stuff."

"Yup," I nodded along, deciding on a roll of white paper streamers to use first. "Wanna help me put these up?"

"Sure," he agreed, following me over to the living room where we climbed up on the couch together to reach the ceiling.

"Oh, y/n," Molly called, poking her head in from the kitchen. "Your mom will be back in just a minute. She went out to grab some extra party favors."

"Okay," I smiled while Molly raised one eyebrow back at us.

"What?" Ron laughed, staring back at her equally as confused.
