Chapter Six

Sports Festival pt.1

It was the day of the sports festival. You were in the waiting room meant for class 1-A. You were sitting with Denki, Kirishima and Bakugo.

" Hey Bakugo, thanks for last time." You smiled.

He looked at you confused.

" When you covered me from that guy?" You tried to help him remember.

" Oh, whatever." He rolled his eyes.

You smiled.

" I wanted to wear my costume." Mina frowned.

" To keep things fair, we can't." Ojiro placed his hands on his hips.

" I wonder what the first rounds gonna be." Sato thought.

" No matter what comes, we have no choice but to deal with it." Tokoyami sighed.

" Guys, well girls, were we supposed wear a tank top or anything. Cuz I'm wearing just a bra." You asked.

" Yea you're fine. It's not like people will see it." Mina waved her hand.

" Everyone, are you ready. We'll be entering soon." Iida announced.

Everyone got nervous.

" Midoriya."

You looked back to see Todoroki walking to Midoriya.

" Todoroki? What is it?" Midoriya turned to him.

Everyone looked at them.

" Looking at things objectively, I think I'm stronger than you." Todoroki bluntly stated.

" Huh! Yeah.." Midoriya agreed.

" But....All Might has an eye on you, doesn't he? I'm not trying to pry about that. But I am going to beat you." Todoroki declared.

Everyone sat in silence.

" Oooh, is the best of the class making a declaration of war?" Denki smiled.

Kirishima got up.

" Hey hey hey. Why are you picking a fight out of the sudden? Not now, we're about to start." Kirishima frowned.

" We're not here to play at being friends. So what does it matter." Todoroki walked

You stared at him as he left. This was new. This isn't the Todoroki from yesterday

" Todoroki, I know what you're thinking when you say you'll beat me but of course you're better than me. I think you're more capable than most people. Looking at it objectively...." Midoriya looked at him.

" Midoriya, you probably shouldn't talk so negatively-" Kirishima placed a hand on his shoulder.

" But. Everyone. The students from the other courses are aiming for the top with everything they got. I can't afford to fall behind. I'll be going for it with everything I have, too." Midoriya smiled.

Todoroki looked at him.

" Yeah." Was all Todoroki said.

The sports festival started and everyone was nervous.

" Guys it'll be fine." You breathed in.

Denki nodded.

" I'm excited." He smiled.

" Hero course Class 1-A!" Present Mic announced.

Everyone walked out. You walked out with Denki and Midoriya.
