Luck (Todoroki x Reader)

Chapter Forty Seven

Your eyes flustered open. The sun from the window shined in. You sat up from hearing the soft call of a bird.

You looked out. Your eyes widened seeing so many heroes working on rebuilding your city.

" You're awake! That's very relieving."

You looked over to a doctor.

" How long was I out?" You asked.

" Three days. How long were you dead? Maybe a couple seconds." The doctor chuckled while taking your measurements.

" Dead?!" You gasped.

" You flatlined on the way over. That father of yours, scary man, kept yelling at us to save you. We did everything we could. Glad we can finally tell him you're awake." The doctor explained.

" Where is Aizawa?" You smiled.

" He's in his own room. He suffered minor injuries, but he'll be okay. You on the other hand, you've suffered multiple broken fractures, a punctured lung, your side needed 50 stitches, and you had to receive emergency blood transfusion. Not to mention the multiple minor bruises and cuts. You're lucky to be alive." The doctor sighed.

" Wow....I'm guessing no hero work?" You asked.

" No hero work. Your past injuries, the chest burn, opened up again. If you keep adding to it, it might not heal properly, prohibiting you from moving." The doctor warned.

" Right..." You nodded.

" I'll tell your father the news. So be ready to see him."

You smiled before the doctor made his way out. You looked outside again.

A knock caught your attention.

" Y/n!" Oscar ran in.

" Oscar!" You smiled hugging him.

" You lied! Shes awake." Oscar yelled.

You smiled seeing Todoroki.

" Y/n!" He ran over and hugged you.

" You're okay! You're awake." He cupped your face.

" Hey Shoto. You had Oscar?" You helped Oscar onto your bed.

" Aizawa asked me to come with Oscar. He didn't tell me you were awake." Shoto sat next to you.

" The doctor barely headed out to tell him. How are you?" You asked Todoroki.

" I'm fine. Couple burns and bruises. How about you? You scared me. I thought you were-" He stopped himself after looking at Oscar hugging you.

" I know. The doctor told me."

" I was so scared I was going to lose you. Don't do that again. Please." Todoroki whispered while hiding his face into your neck.

You smiled hugging both Oscar and Todoroki.

" Dad is hurt. He has no eye." Oscar looked up at you.

" I know."

" Cool right?"

You laughed.

" Yea..."

" Shoto, are you allowed to be walking around?" You ran your fingers through his hair.

" The doctors recommended it. I should be discharged around the same time you are." He mumbled through your gown.

He pulled away, looking at you.

" You're not allowed to do that again. No more death scares." Oscar pouted.

" I agree with him." Todoroki nodded.
