"Tire tracks," Kiyoko analysed, looking at the imprints left from the scene. "If we follow these, we should find the others."

"What do you think those people wanted them for? Kageyama was dead. It wasn't as if having him with them could help," Narita pointed out before wincing at his own words. "Sorry. That was insensitive."

"It's fine," Kiyoko announced, racking her brain for any possible reason they would want Kageyama and the others. "You don't think..." Kiyoko's eyes widened at the idea. She felt sick. There was no way... was there.

"What is it, Kiyoko?" Asahi grabbed onto Kiyoko's shoulder, snapping her out of her thoughts as she gulped audibly.

"Those people, they couldn't be cannibals, could they?"

Asahi paled at the idea. If he had anything to throw up, it would be on the floor. Tanaka's eyes widened at the suggestion. "Are you telling me that I could find my boyfriend barbequed?! No way!" Tanaka shook his head, refusing to let the idea into his mind.

"It's just a theory. I could be wrong," Kiyoko backtracked, not willing to upset Tanaka any more than she had already.

"Let's just find them before anything can happen to them," Tanaka ordered, walking off without them.

"I hope I'm wrong."

Ennoshita refused to look at the vile people. How could they sleep after eating another person? It was disgusting. They were disgusting. How was it that people like them were still alive when Hinata, Kinoshita and Kageyama were dead? They didn't deserve to live.

"Stop glaring at us." Ennoshita jumped from the voice. Someone walked out of the darkness, sitting in front of Ennoshita. "Carrot?"

Ennoshita raised his eyebrow at the fresh vegetable. "No, thank you?"

The person seemed to find Ennoshita's response funny as she burst out laughing, falling onto her back. She had pale skin that seemed untouched and longish brown hair. The most noticeable feature about her was the red heart tattoo on the inside of her wrist.

"Mia? What are you doing?"

The person turned a little at the sound of her name, coming face to face with a man of similar age. He too had brown hair and pale skin. A larger bird tattoo decorated the man's shoulder.

"I'm just having some fun with our prisoners. Come, join us." 'Mia' patted the dirt next to her, her amber eyes shining in the firelight.

"Fine, but only because I don't trust them," the man announced, glaring at Ennoshita as 'Mia' cheered.

"Oh, I'm Mia! This is my stupid twin brother Tamaki," Mia smirked as she jabbed at her brother who smirked back.

"You say I'm stupid but you are dumber than me. Really shows the intelligence levels you must be at." Tamaki grabbed Mia, pulling her into a throat lock and ruffling her hair.

"Tamaki! Let me go!"

The rest of the cannibals seemed to enjoy watching the twins as they laughed at their actions.

Ennoshita didn't like this. How could they act like nothing was wrong? They were almost normal. That caused greater fear in Ennoshita than anything they could do to him. "How... How can you act so..." Ennoshita stumbled over his words, not able to look at the two.

"Normal," Mia guessed, tilting her head. "It's not that bad. You just don't think about it."

"But, they are human! You are cannibals! How can you live with yourselves?!" Ennoshita didn't care that asking would get him in more trouble. It wasn't like they could do any worse to him. He had to know the answer.

"We didn't start out as cannibals," Tamaki announced, rubbing his forehead. "At first, we were just like you. We tried to help everyone. But then one stabbed us in the back. They stole our food and ran for the hills. We were starving. We were hopeless. We were just going to lie down and die."

"And then, Mori came. He didn't tell us what we were eating, just fed us. He saved us. We owe our lives to him. When he told us what he was doing, he didn't do it so we would join him in searching. He did it because he wanted us to make a choice between our lives. There were those of us who died. They killed themselves, unable to have it on their mind. We ate them. Not because of some loose screw in our head. Because we wanted to survive. We didn't want to feel that weakness we felt when we were starving. If there was another way, we would take it. But there isn't. To survive, the weak must die. We will survive." Mia's eyes held a haunted look, one of regret but one of hope. She believed her words. Every part of her believed this was the only way.

Could that happen to them? Ennoshita's mind ran wild. If they didn't have enough food, would they become cannibals? Could he do that? Could he eat someone else? No! He couldn't! They were sick! But... Mia... Tamaki... they didn't think they would do this.

"Mori! Something is wrong Milly!" In a second, the leader was up and across the building. He was looking over 'Milly', trying to talk to her.

Mia and Tamaki rushed over to see what was wrong, watching the second in command writhe in pain. Sweat poured off her forehead. She looked awful.

"Check her leg," Tamaki ordered, remembering the mysterious limp she had gained.

Mori pulled back the fabric, his eyes widening at the bite mark. "Milly! What have you done?! We need to get her out of here before she-" Mori didn't finish his order as Milly pounced on him. She pushed him onto his back, thrashing around. "Damn it! Kill her! Kill her!"

Tamaki ran forward, grabbing the gun that Mori had dropped and blowing Milly's brains over the nearby wall. Milly rolled to the side and stopped moving.

"Damn it! Fuck. This isn't good." Mori forced himself to his feet, a clear cut on the side of his neck gushing out litres per second.

"Mori?" Mia jumped up, rushing over. She brought out a medic bag, swiftly assessing the damage. "It-It's going to be okay." Mia knew she was lying. No one could save Mori.

"Mia, stop. Stop it! Save it for someone else." Mori forced Mia's hands down, a warm smile covering his face. "You need to go. Every infected would have heard that. They'll be here soon. You need to get out."

"You're coming with us."

"No. I'm not. Tamaki, look after them. I know it's selfish, but leave me the gun. I would prefer to die but my own hand than become one of them," Mori begged slightly, holding onto Tamaki's hand.

"Of course." Tamaki pushed the gun into Mori's hand, water landing on top of the weapon. "You know, they don't know what they were talking about. You are the bravest of all us. You have four bullets, don't miss."

"Thank you, Tamaki. You two are now in charge. Now go!" Mori pushed Tamaki away. They could hear the infected groaning. They were coming.

"Mia, we have to go. Mia." Tamaki dragged his sister away from Mori, her tears streaming down her face.

"Wait! We can't leave them." Mia looked at the people they had brought here. Strange to think she was completely fine killing and eating them but the second someone else wants to, she rushes to their aid. Bringing out a rusted knife and cutting through the ropes. "Come on!" She grabbed Ennoshita, pulling him to his feet and dragging him to the exit.

The infected were getting closer.

"Rot in hell, you bastards!" Bang! Bang! Bang! Mori's determined screaming only brought more tears to their eyes. "Goodbye, my little survivors." Bang!

It was weird to Ennoshita. That man ate Kageyama. He was going to eat Sugawara and Daichi. He was going to eat Ennoshita. And yet, Ennoshita felt nothing but pity for him. How old was he? Did he have a family? Has he lost others, just like the team had? This world they live in, would it force the team to become like them?

Ennoshita pulled his hand back, tears falling from his eyes. This was wrong! All this was wrong!
