Michi collapsed down with his tray. The canteen was mainly deserted, most members have returned to their work by now but Michi had a habit of turning up late so the cook was waiting for him. Everyone was able to sit around the long table though it was clear the third-years still didn't trust Michi. Asahi, Daichi and Sugawara all sat across from Michi. Tanaka had sat next to Michi- still completely out of it while Kiyoko sat next to him.

Michi seemed to finally pick up on Tanaka's strange attitude. "If you don't mind me asking, what is wrong with your friend." Michi was considerate enough to lean away from Tanaka and whisper it across the table.

Daichi side, rubbing his eyes. "Just before you guys came, Tanaka's boyfriend- and our friend- died. We think he is still in shock."

Michi's eyes widened as he sat back, understanding in his eyes. "I'm sorry," he apologised, looking down guiltily.

"Why are you sorry?" Kiyoko's eyes narrowed on Michi, obviously looking for any signs that could tell them what was going on.

"If we had been better, we would have found a cure by now. Your friend's boyfriend and countless others wouldn't have died. I'm sorry we weren't fast enough to save your friend." Michi looked generally guilty. It was clear that Michi generally cared and was trying to find a cure. The third-years couldn’t help but wonder, why they still didn’t believe him. It was probably Joji.

Tsukishima frowned, not liking his boyfriend looking so sad. He pulled Michi into a tight hug, laying the smaller against his chest. "It's not your fault. You are trying your best."

Michi sighed, relaxing in his boyfriend's arms. It was clear the effect Tsukishima had on Michi and equally clear the effect Michi had on Tsukishima.

"This food is awful," Tsukishima stated, breaking the moment. "Like, is this food at all."

"Oh gosh, Tsukki! Quieten down, you'll upset Nissho," Michi ordered between laughs.

"You don't like my food! Don't eat it!" 'Nissho' threw down his apron, muttering different curses under his breath, making Michi laugh harder.

"No! Nissho! He didn't mean it! Nissho!" Nissho stormed out as Michi laughed even harder. "Good going Tsukki, you insulted the chef."

"It's not my fault the food is terrible," Tsukishima grumbled with his arms folded.

Michi sighed, leaning up so he could rest his hands and head on Tsukishima's shoulder. "What would you prefer to eat?"

"If I could pick anything..." Tsukishima smirked, spinning and pulling Michi so he landed in his lap. "I would eat you."

Sugawara chose a bad moment to take a sip of the water as he choked. Asahi looked horrified, backing up a little while Daichi tried to keep both of them from dying. Michi was malfunctioning, a deep blush covering his face as he stuttered out a response.

Tsukishima took advantage of this, kissing Michi and making him malfunction even further.

Sugawara finally got his windpipe clear as he gasped for air. "Tsuki... shima... Kei... don't say things like that."

Tsukishima didn't seem bothered. He had returned to eating the food, not minding the body that sat on his lap. "Why? You can't take away my freedom of speech."

Sugawara looked like he wanted to fight Tsukishima but decided against it.

"Is he okay?" Kiyoko pointed to Michi even though she didn't really care.

"Yeah. He'll be fine." Tsukishima gently scooped up some of Michi's food, placing it in front of his mouth. It seemed to do the trick as Michi snapped out of the trance and opened his mouth, letting Tsukishima feed him for the rest of the meal.
