M/n took a deep breath, this was a moment that was long overdue and he was ready to get it over with. "Look, I understand that you loathe the mere thought of me but...I don't loathe you, sure you terrorized me every chance you got, made it extremely hard to enjoy Mondstadt, and even said that you wished I died instead of my brother...This is very abusive behavior but I can feel it in my soul that this isn't who you are. Yeah, I may not understand that you lost the love of your life because of me but it wasn't my fault. I never hurt Helios, I loved him with all my heart and he was the most important person in my life."M/n said while maintaining eye contact with Zhongli; which was a hard task to manage but M/n wanted Zhongli to see that every word he said was true.
Zhongli wanted to snap at M/n but he didn't and for once he settled for listening. "Helios was so important to me that I didn't want to lose him...I was afraid of being left alone...But he was so happy that he found someone to love in a special way that I couldn't help but be happy too... Zhongli, do you think Helios would be happy with how you've been treating me?"

"Helios would probably knock some sense into you the moment you threaten me! As Zhongli closed in on M/n, he shoved something into the elven male's hand and walks past him and out of the building entirely. M/n released a shaky sigh then opens his hand to see what was put in it. "He...He gave it back..."
"Holy shit, you finally got through to him!"M/n clutches the pocket watch necklace to his chest and smiles, he had finally made good progress with Zhongli, it wasn't much but it was something to be happy about! "It seems so...Maybe we can slowly but surely become friends."

"Yeah!!"Kaeya immediately contacts the others; who happened to be scattered around the city to return to The knights of Favonius headquarters to celebrate M/n's biggest accomplishment of the day! The others were surprised to hear how it went and the party followed soon after!
As the party died down; due to Kaeya, Diluc, and somehow Aether getting drunk. M/n stepped outside only to be slightly startled by Zhongli sitting on the steps in the cool air, M/n quietly turns back to enter the building but a soft singing caught his attention before he could. "We build it up, we tear it down We leave our pieces on the ground We see no end, we don't know how We are lost and we're falling Hold onto me You're all I have, all I have Hold onto me You're all I have, all I have~" M/n couldn't place where he had heard this song, once again a short flashback plays and he could hear Helios's voice and see the older male playing a piano and nearby was the gentle sound of a violin coming from inside the room.
Something about this makes the redhead want to cry while invoking panic and fear; the feeling was overwhelming to him! So without a second to spare he rushed back into the building and gently closed the door. "What was that all about...Who was playing the violin.."M/n looked down at his feet while leaning against the door. Why was that feeling so strong...
