After the fiasco, M/n decided it would be nice to bring little Zylith with them to Liyue for a change of scenery and widened his horizon. Currently, the group consists of; Aether, Zhongli, and Xiao. The others stayed behind in Snezhnaya to disband the Fatui for good and Childe decided to take temporary control of the Dukedom for the time being. "Ahh! Isn't the morning beautiful, Zyl?"
"Mmh."Zylith nods slowly; The little one had woken up a few minutes after M/n and joined him on the balcony of the Wangshu Inn. The two sat peacefully at the table and drank tea as the morning rays shine down upon them; warming their slightly cold skin. After a few minutes, there was a knock on the door. "You may enter."
"Good morning, King M/n. I was given an order by Xiao to survive you and young master Zylith an early breakfast."
"Ah! Thank you!"The server walks over with a cark of food and lays it down on the table for them. The server giggles lightly and made a small comment that nearly made M/n drop his teacup. "Your husband adores you so much! I wish I could be in a loving marriage like this!"Even Zylith; who was woken up by that comment, almost drops his cup. "Hus...Husband?!"
"Yes, sir Xiao! He made such a fuss last night about what to make for you and the little one! Oh to be so young!"M/n couldn't get a word out due to the server leaving the room right after. "Is that what you mean when people jump to conclusions?"
"That was the exact definition of what I meant."The two laugh until their sides hurt. Once the laughing fit was over, the two started to eat from the lovely spread of food. One thing about Zylith, he wasn't a picky eater and was only calm around M/n, for the reason? It's unknown but M/n thought it would be a great time to ask. "Hey Zyl, I heard you have a hard time getting along with the others, why is that?"
"....The smell of their souls...."M/n blinks for a second, he didn't understand what Zylith meant by that but he suddenly remembers that the old Zylith- well Ikki would often drop that his soul had a distinct scent. For now, M/n left it alone and they finish breakfast just as Xiao walks into the room.
Now with the sun high in the sky, the group settled for gathering supplies at the Inn. During this time Zylith catches sight of a familiar form; they resembled Aether. Not thinking much of it, Zylith takes off after the form. It took a minute for M/n to realize that Zylith wasn't hanging onto his sleeve. "Zyl?"When M/n turns his head, he expected to see Zylith next to him but was immediately greeted by a space. His head snaps back up and he was lucky enough to catch Zylith run. "Zylith!"M/n was second to take off after the child; leaving Zhongli, Xiao, and Aether behind. "Brother Aether, wait up!"The person Zylith was chasing after, stops and turns when noticing the call-out was aimed at them.
This allowed M/n to catch up to the two. "Aether-"
"Zylith, Aether is back at the shop in the Inn, who are you chasing?"M/n said while pulling Zylith back just a bit from the stranger; who looked similar to Aether. "Sorry about Zylith. You look familiar so he chased after you."
"It's fine, my name is Kazuha and you are?"
"I'm M/n, King of Vestal-"Kazuha nearly screamed, it was the person he was looking for and without thinking he grabs both of M/n's hands. "King M/n, I-I need your help!!"
"Ah!? What happened?"
"My friend Mimi is in danger! A few days ago, we were attacked and something strange happened! Her soul seemed to be knocked out of her body! Someone told me that the king of the Vestal could save her! Mimi is resting in Wangshu Inn."M/n asked that Kazuha leads him to his friend and that exactly what he did. On the way back into Wangshu Inn, the trio looked on in confusion at the male with M/n and Zylith. "Uhhh, wanna explain the Aether look alike?"
"This is Kazuha, his friends' soul is...well it's not where it's supposed to be."
"Just like Diluc?"
"Yep."Aether nods while Xiao tilts his head, what the three forgot what that Xiao wasn't present for what happened with Diluc, so a swift explanation was given to bring him up to speed. Xiao had a full grasp on the situation but one thing... "Uhh, how are you going to get the flower? From what you told me, it was given to you via Val; a spirit that threatened to eat Zhongli. However, you do know that Val is one of the seven spirits created by the mother of nature, right?"Xiao questions Zhongli said Geo Archon did not know that and could have caused mass unbalance if the two were to fight. "Well...I...I know that now."
"Okay, I'll contact Val. However beware they like to drop from a portal."
