That night we were ordered to sleep in the Great Hall. I couldn't sleep. I had wanted to go to Professor Lupin tonight so we could've started looking for Sirius as soon as possible, but we were too late. Sirius had already gotten into the castle. The weird thing was no one could find him. Suddenly I heard whispers at the main enterance.
"I've searched the Astronomy Tower and the Owlery, sir, but there's nothing there." I heard a voice that I believed was Filch say.
"Thank you." I heard Dumbledore say.
"The third floor's clear, to, sir." Another Professor that I couldn't identify said.
"Very good." Dumbledore said.
"I've done the dungeons, Headmaster. No sign of Black. Nor anywhere else in the castle." Snape said. The voices then started to get closer.
"Thank you. I didn't really expect him to linger."
"Remarkable feat, don't you think? To enter Hogwarts castle on one's own, completely undetected..." Immediately I knew what Snape was trying to do. He was trying to blame this on Professor Lupin. I could tell Snape hated him from the start.
"Quite remarkable, yes."
"Any theories about how he might have managed it?"
"Oh, don't you dare." I whispered to myself, not loud enough to be heard by the two professors.
"Many, each as unlikely as the next."
"You may recall that prior to the start of term, I did express concerns about your appointment of Professor- " I wanted to get up and punch Snape. Jealousy always seemed to cloud his judgement. But before I could even think of reacting, Dumbledore interrupted Snape.
"Not a single professor inside this castle would help Sirius Black enter it. No, I'm quite convinced the castle is safe. And I'm more than willing to send the students back to their Houses." They were both directly behind me now.
"What about Potter? Should he be warned?" I looked to Harry who was in front of me.
"Perhaps... But for now, let him sleep... For in dreams we enter a world that's entirely our own. Let them swim in the deepest ocean, or glide over the highest cloud." And like a lullaby, I feel asleep.

The next day I had gone to my classes and my next one up was Defense Against the Dark Arts. I sat next to Draco and gave him a kiss. "Hey." I smiled.
"Hey" He took my hand from under the table and I tried to keep myself from blushing. Draco always had me feeling some sort of way.
The door opened to reveal Snape. He entered and closed all the windows with his wand. Once he was settled he glared at us. "Turn to page three hundred and ninety-four."
"Excuse me, sir... where's Professor Lupin?" Harry asked. He was sitting at the table next to us.
"That's not really your concern, is it, Potter? Suffice it to say, your Professor finds himself incapable of teaching... at the present time. Turn to page three hundred and ninety-four!" We all turned our book and saw how far we had skipped ahead. Snape had turned on the projector showing us pictures of werewolves.
"'Werewolves?'" Ron asked. I had remembered Professor Lupin telling me about him being a werewolf and I knew right then that Snape was taking at stab at Lupin.
"But, sir, we've just begun learning about Red Caps and Hinkypunks. We're not meant to start nocturnal beasts for weeks-" Hermione started.
"Quiet!"
"When did she come in? Did you see her come in?" Ron asked Harry.
"Now. Which of you can tell me the difference between an Animagus and a werewolf?"
"No one? How disappointing."
"Please, sir. An Animagus is a wizard who elects to turn into an animal. A werewolf has no choice. With each full moon when he transforms he no longer remembers who he is. He'd kill his best friend if he crossed his path. Furthermore, the werewolf only responds only to the call of its own kind -"
"Owooo!" Draco howled. I nudged him and he just smiled.
"Thank you, Mr. Malfoy." Snape looked to Hermione. "That is the second time you have spoken out of turn, Miss Granger. Are you incapable of restraining yourself, or do you take pride in being an insufferable know-it-all?"
"He's got a point, you know." Ron said.
"Five points from Gryffindor! As an antidote to your ignorance, and on my desk by Monday morning, two rolls of parchment on the werewolf, with particular emphasis on recognizing it."
The class whined. "But, sir, it's Quidditch tomorrow." Harry said. Snape leaned into Harry.
"Then I suggest you take extra care, Mr. Potter. Loss of limb will not excuse you. Page three hundred and ninety- four."
Draco took out an enchanted origami bird out of his pocket and blew it to Harry. Snape kept talking about werewolves but I wasn't listening.
"What was on the doodle?"
"Nothing, don't worry."
"Are you getting along with Harry more? You should. You know how much you both mean to me."
"I was just telling him some ideas on what to do for your birthday. Don't worry, babe. Harry and I are getting along fine now." I smiled at kissed him on the cheek.
"You're the best." I looked to Harry and he smiled at me. I didn't know that he was faking it that day, but I wish I had.
