***Lizzy's POV***
We arrived at the Whomping Willow. I looked at the wolf skeptically and he went into an opening under the tree. I followed him and after going through a tunnel for a while I found myself in a little house. I could tell it hadn't been used for a while.
I looked back to the wolf but the wolf was gone. Sirius Black stood there instead. I turned back into my regular self. After running up to him I hugged him.
"I haven't seen you in forever." I said.
We let go and he looked at me with a little furry in his eyes. "Please tell me you are registered." It took me a while to understand what he was asking.
"No." I said, looking down.
"What in the world have you the idea?"
"Professor Lupin and I were worried about you."
"Remus Lupin? He's here?"
"Yeah. Would you want to see him?"
"No, it's not best."
"Okay."
"Tell me.... How have you been?"
We talked about my life. How I had lived on the streets all my life. It wasn't much to talk about so he talked about his life at Azkaban.
Before we knew it, it was midnight. "You better be going back to Hogwarts. It's not safe out here. I'll walk you to the enterance, but that is all I can do. Last time I went in there it did no good."
"Why are you here?" I asked.
"Peter Pettigrew. The man who killed James and Lily Potter, Harry's parents. He's here."
I slightly gasped. "Is he a threat to Harry?"
"I don't know, but I'm not going to just wait and find out the hard way."
"I'll keep an eye out for anything suspicious."
"Let's go, shall we?"
I smiled and we both turned back into our Animagus forms. While we walked there was silence. I didn't know what to say. Should I have thanked him for helping me escape from Voldemort?
I didn't know if it was the right time. Him saving me is what got him captured and put into Azkaban.
Once we got to the edge of the campus Sirius stopped. "This is as far as I can go. If you need anything just give me a howl."
I walked up to kiss him on the cheek, but I licked him instead. I had forgotten that this was a dog's way of kissing. "Thanks, for everything. I don't deserve it."
"You're not your father, Elizabeth." And with that, he left.
