Today was the Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff. Unfortunately it was raining but I stayed by Hermione and Ron, cheering Harry on.
"Whoo!!! Harry!!! Whooo!" We cheered. A girl's broom caught on fire and the urge to protect Harry grew. Harry and the Hufflepuff seeker flew to a point where I couldn't see them anymore.
"Elizabeth! Elizabeth!" I turned around to see Raziel coming towards me.
I smiled and hugged her. "I thought you weren't coming."
"I wasn't going to, but Harry. He's in trouble. The Dementors, they are right above us. You need to get him."
Without a second thought I ran downstairs to where they kept extra brooms. I grabbed a random one and ran on to the field.
I heard a few boos and "You can't do that." But before I could be stopped I got on my broom and flew to where I had last seen Harry.
I continued flying up when suddenly it got very cold. I looked around and saw Harry on his broom being chased my two Dementors. I started to fly towards him but a Dementor got in my way.
I went around it and continued to get Harry. A Dementor stopped in front of Harry and started sucking out his happiness. I saw him lose balance on his broomstick.
"Harry!!!" I screamed. But I couldn't get through to him. He fell of his broom and starting falling towards the center of the Earth.
Immediately, I flew down. I could feel the wind pound against my face but that didn't matter. I needed to save Harry. I was just by his side and reached for him. I got him, but I lost balance. My broom fell out from under me and I too was falling.
I held on to Harry for dear life. We got out from the clouds and could see the Quidditch field. So close to death. Was this really the way we were going to die. I saw everyone stand up. Some even screamed.
I closed my eyes waiting for death, but all I could hear was Dumbledore yell, "Aresto momentum!"
------------------------------"They look a bit peaky, don't they?" I faintly heard Ron say.
"Shut it Weasley." I heard Draco mumble.
"Peaky? What d'you expect? They fell over a hundred feet." I opened my eyes and saw Fred, Ron's brother, talking.
I looked around, not listening to Fred anymore. We were in the infirmary. Directly next to my bed was Harry's bed, we were so close I could touch him.
Draco sat at the edge of my bed and scooted closer once he saw I was awake. I smiled, happy to have him next to me, but before I could say hello I heard Harry.
"Probably a right sight better than he normally does." I looked to Harry and hugged him, both of us wincing at the pain but not dating to let go. "Thanks for saving me back there." He whispered.
"Yeah, fat lot of good that did us." I smiled. He shrugged and I went back to Draco. He looked jealous so I playfully rolled my eyes and kissed his cheek.
"How're you two feeling?" Hermione asked us.
"Oh, brilliant." He said.
"Like a million bucks." I added sarcastically.
"You guys gave us a right good scare there."
"What happened?" Harry asked.
"Well, you fell off your broom. And Elizabeth saved you... Well... Tried to save you." Ron said. I laughed at that but stopped when my stomach started to hurt.
"Really? I meant the match. Who won?" I smiled at Harry's priorities.
"Um- no one blames you, Harry. The dementors aren't supposed to come inside the grounds. Dumbledore was furious. As soon as he saved you both, he sent them straight off." Hermione said.
"There's uh- something else you should know, too, Harry, um. When you fell, your broom- it- it sort of..." Ron held Harry's broken broomstick. "blew into the Whomping Willow."
The nurse sent everyone away as Harry and I needed rest. I couldn't sleep. Once the infirmary was clear I snuck to Professor Lupin's classroom.
He was there and smiled at me. "Hello, Elizabeth! Great to see you feeling better!"
"Thanks professor." I took the potion that Raziel had given me out of my coat pocket. I was lucky that it hadn't crushed when Harry and I fell.
"What's that Liz?" He asked.
"Another potion to speed up the Animagus process." I hand it to him and he studies it carefully.
"Are you sure it's safe?"
"Yes" He nodded and then had me lay on one of the tables. Slowly he poured it into my mouth and immediately I was taken back to the Woods.
This time it was different. It was winter. My paws were freezing. I looked around, suspecting the other wolves to come but none did. Minutes past and it was silent... A little too silent.
I decided to explore the my surroundings. I couldn't find one living creature. It was a total Ghost Town. I heard a twig snap behind me. I turned to see my mother. Her brown hair in a messy bun and her blue eyes kindly starring at me.
"Hello my beautiful girl." She smiled at me.
The alpha wolf from before came to my side, almost scaring me to death. "Kill her." I looked at him shocked.
"What? No!"
"You want to save Sirius. Correct? Well, in order to do that. Kill her." I looked back to my mom. She looked so peaceful. I had to do this.
I walked up to her and she bent down, brushing my fur. "Mom?"
"Yes Lizzy?" She smiled at me.
I could feel tears run down my coat. "I'm.. Im so sorry." I leapt up and bit her nose. Blood starting streaming down like a river. I closed my eyes and kept biting and clawing at her.
I could hear her scream and cry out for help. I stopped when I heard her taking her last breaths. I opened my eyes and saw nothing but blood everywhere. My mothers once kind eyes were now furious. "You're no daughter of mine!"
I gasped as she died. I turned around suspecting to see the alpha wolf but my father stood in his place. Or at least the man who used to be my father, Lord Voldemort.
"You did good, Elizabeth." He says. "You'll be a great addition to the Death Eaters."
I shivered at the thought. "I'll never be one of you." I said trying to yell but the only thing that came out was a cry.
"You already are." He smiled. A group in long black capes with fearsome masks covering their faces came towards me. They took out a cage and one guy threw me in.
This was a nightmare.
