Raziel's P.O.V.
I heard Elizabeth's laughter. "Floyd, hahaha, Floyd stop." She laughed. I sat up and saw Floyd licking her face, trying to wake her up. I smiled at her, "Good morning Elizabeth." I said. She looked at me and a frown formed on her face. She ignored me and went to the restroom. I understood her anger, I had asked my superiors if I could follow her to London but they had forbid it. They said I must stay on Hogwarts grounds. If I had disobeyed those orders I would become an abomination.
Floyd had gone to Raven and Sarah and woke them by licking their faces as well. I didnt need waking. Being an angel, I did not have the ability to sleep and dream. The whole night I was thinking of ways to earn Elizabeth's trust. I stood up and made sure no one was looking in my direction. Raven and Sarah were in the bathroom getting ready and Elizabeth was in the shower. Seeing it was safe for me to leave, I teleported to Heaven.
When most people think of Heaven they probably think of jewels and fields of flowers, but that is not Heaven. Heaven is more like a city. The angels work in the Office Buildings and the souls are in the Apartment Buildings. It's a very complex thing to explain, so I will leave it to your imagination.
I had arrived in my personal office. My office didnt have much, only my desk and a few file cabinets. I looked at my clothes, a oversized hoodie and some PJ pants. I snaped my fingers, changing my outfit into something work appropiate. I exited my office and almost bumped into my boss. Before you ask, no I did not almost bump into God. Not all Angels are allowed to meet the man himself. Only 4 angels have.
Angels have levels, the lowest level is the Messengers, then theres the Officers, the Workers (which is the category I am in), the Managers, the Soldiers, and finally God. The Messengers are practically angel servents, the Officers are the angels that keep the souls in their place, the Workers can be many things (Guardians, FIle Keepers, or even Soul Guiders - angels who bring souls to Heaven), the Managers, well, they manage the Workers, the Soldiers fight any threat to Heaven (demons, monsters, etc.) and then I guess you know what God does.
So, thats a short explaination. Anyways, so I bumped into my boss, Manager Daniel. He gave me a small smile, "Hello, Raziel. How are things with Elizabeth doing?" He asked.
"Not very well, sir. She is upset with me for not following her to England. She doesnt understand who I am or why I am protecting her."
His smile quickly turned to a frown. Daniel never liked things not going acording to plan. "Follow me to my office." Once we entered his office, which looked similar to mine, he asked me to sit down. I sat on his couch and he sat across from me.
"Elizabeth is a very big issue here, can you tell me why?" He asked. I knew he was full aware of why Elizabeth was an issue, he just wanted me to repeat it.
"It is told in the prophecy, that she will be the destroyer of Heaven."
"Yes, it is. So, we sent you to make sure the prophecy never comes true, that it never happens. We trusted you to save Heaven. Now, I hope youre not telling me that we trusted the wrong person."
"I not saying tha--"
"Good, 'cause I wouldnt want to have that rumor spread around. That wouldnt be good for either of us now would it?"
"No, sir."
"Good, now, go back to Hogwarts, and I dont care if you have to lie through your teeth, you make Elizabeth trust you. Am I clear?"
"Very much, sir." I left his office and returned to mine, avoiding all of my co-workers. I changed my outfit into my Hogwarts robes and transported to my first class.
