1995

the music began to play and my band mates and i were pumped to do our final song for soundcheck. "1,2,3!" the blonde hair boy, who is known as alex, counted us in.

we began playing. luke began singing and we were all there gaving a great time and just vibing with each other. it came to my part where i joined in with luke.

"clocks move faster, cause it's all we're after, nowwwwww, oh ohhh. won't stop climbing, cause this is our time, yeah!"

the energy that rushed through me when luke and i sang together was upbeat, the smiles on both of our faces as we sing together will never leave me until the day i die.

after mine and luke's mini duet we all began to sing the chorus and oh my god i could do this everyday, and what made it better was i had my brother, reggie peters, by my side through it all.

it came to alex's and reggie's duet and luke, bobby and i stood to the side with smiles swarming our faces at how amazing they are.

"we ain't searching for tomorrow"

"tomorrow"

"cause we got all we need today"

"today"

luke then joined in.

"livin' on a feeling that's been running through our veins"

it was time for my moment to shine.

"we're the revolution that's been singing in the rain" i sang.

we all began singing the chorus again but instead of us playing our instruments we all clapped and alex clapped his sticks together. luke swung his guitar over his shoulder, which might i add was hot! and my brother reggie, struck a note on his guitar as we all joined in to finish the rest of the song.

the people preparing the venue for the show all cheered as we finished. but this one particular girl was the loudest of them all.

"thank you we're sunset curve" my brother winked.

"too bad we wasted that on the soundcheck, that was the tightest we've ever played" bobby stated as him and luke bumped elbows. i swear all boys do that.

"wait until tonight man, when this place is packed with record execs." the brown haired boy exclaimed as he bounced on his toes throwing his hands everywhere.

"don't get your hopes too high, lukey." i said as he stuck his tongue out at me and i let out a little giggle.

"alex you were smokin." my brother said as he turned to face alex.

"oh. no i was just warming up,you guys were the ones on fire." he said doubtfully.

"can you just own your awesomeness for once" reggie exclaimed.

alex looked at all of us and we all nodded and smiled at him which brought a smile upon his face.

"alright i was killin' it" the blonde state as luke rubbed his shoulders and patted his back.

"about time" i said as i punched his shoulder. alex and i are best friends and we always have been, i can get away with this kinda stuff.

"okay, i'm thinking we fule up before the show..." luke started saying

"it better not be what i think you're about to say" i butted in.

"...i'm thinkin' street dogs" he continued

"ugh seriously, we get those all the time" i groaned whilst alex and reggie agreed.

"suck it up, buttercup," look said as he booped my nose.
