as i opened my hazel eyes, the sun beamed at them causing me to let out quiet groans. i rubbed my eyes and sat my body up, the boys were stood at where their instruments were placed and looked over to me. "rise and shine sleepy head" luke smiled at me. i nodded and walked over to them whilst picking up my guitar. "what's the plan for today?" i yawned. the boys let out a little chuckle, this was either going to be good or bad. 

"well julie is going to try get back into the music programme today" alex answered.

"and we're going to watch her" reggie added. 

i nodded my head and began tuning my guitar. playing the guitar for me was always an escape route from the drama at home. it calmed me down, and when i was able to play the songs i wrote i felt at ease and it felt like the world that had come crashing down on me, started to lift. i strummed a few times on my guitar and before you knew it i was in my element. i felt the boys eyes on me but that didn't matter, to me it was just me and the music my guitar let out. 

"um g, i don't wanna spoil the moment but we've gotta get going, to julie's school" luke let out a slight smile as he knows i hate to be taken away from my passion. 

i nodded, "what are we waiting for then?" i smiled. one by one we all poofed out of the studio to the school. we entered the school gym to see julie stood there with the girl from earlier. it had also appeared that a group who goes by the name of - dirty candy- was performing, and everybody was loving it. 

"what are you guys doing here?" julie said as she turned towards us with an angry look on her face. 

"we wanna see you stick it to the man" luke smiled, "isn't that right guys?"

"man i miss high school," reggie said as he jaw dropped, so me being the nice sister i am closed it gently.

"oh big bro, you just miss the parties and the girls" i laughed as reggie made an upset pout at me. 

we observed the group performing, not gonna lie they could dance and the girl who appeared to be the lead singer, she could sing! we just stood there so mesmorized, i miss the times where the band and i snuck off to the music rooms during lunch and sometimes lessons to practice new songs, it was when times were so much more simplier. my attention turned to alex as he started to copy the dance moves the group were doing until he was eventually stopped by luke, i let out a little giggle and julie looked at us in panick. 

the song came to an end and the whole crowd were cheering and  clapping for the group that had just performed. "thank you, thank you" the lead singer smiled. 

"we love you carrie" someone in the crowd said. so that's her name, i like it!

"oh i love you too" carrie waved in their direction, "make sure to check out my new youtube video, oh and go bobcats" she signalled the girls behind her to exit and they all walked off to the side. the crowd cheer got louder but as the group walked off, two teachers walked on. 

"thank you dirty candy" the smaller woman smiled, "before we go we have some notices"

we had all stopped listening to the two women in the middle and our attention was too julie and her friend, flynn's, conversation. "now's your chance go talk to her" flynn said to try encourage julie, "see you in music class" she smiled as she walked off. 

"what are you waiting for, this is your time" reggie said.

"yeh you look really nervous, like yack in a bowl nervous," alex added.

i patted alex on the shoulder, "not helpful sweetie"

"i just don't think i had enough time to work on the song" julie stated. 

"i wouldn't of given it to you if i didn't think you were gonna rock it, there's a piano on that stage with your name on" luke smiled. 

"luke's right julie, if you want to get back into music this could be your only and last chance" i said as i took a step closer to her and so i was nearer to luke. 

we all nodded to her and smiled, she gave us a slight smile as she headed towards the stage. we turned ourselves so we were looking at the stage, julie walked out onto the stage and sat down at the piano. as she went to play a note she stuttered and looked at us. "you got this" luke smiled as the rest of us gave her the thumbs up. her fingers came into contact with the piano and she started to play, when the moment came she began to sing. her voice filled the gym and a few people were starting to take notice of her. when the chorus came around we knew we had to help her, we poofed onto the stage and started to play with julie and it appeared we caught people's attention. everybody could see us. peoople started to pile up towards the stage, "is this really happening?" julie asked. i nodded towards her and smiled at reggie and alex.

"just go with it" luke said to us as he began his part of the song. his voice was beautiful, i could listen to it all day. i was strumming on my guitar and looked over to luke, we both shared a smile and he signalled for me to come over and sing the next line with him. normally reggie would sing this part of the song with him, why did luke want me? i mean i wasn't complaining, so i skipped over to him as we started singing together. 

'life is a risk but we will take it, close my eyes and jump. together i think that we can make it, c'mon lets riseee'

as we finished that mini duet luke winked at me and i smiled at him. i spun back to my original place, we finished the song and as we took the ending bow us four disappeared and julie was left alone up on the stage in front of her whole school. 

and that's a wrap on episode 2!! i hope you guys are enjoying the story so far, i'm finally glad that guke have been able to duet together and trust me there's more to come!! thank you for all the support :))
