the boys and i were now stood outside in the studio still in shock, wondering why julie had lied to us.

"dude! why'd you stop me. julie needs a hug" alex said.

luke turned his body so he was now facing us three, "bro, a ghost hug isn't the feel good moment you think it is. trust me." he winked at me as he shook his sleevless, blue hoodie. "what julie needs now is a bit of privacy.

"you know what,i think you poofed us out because you can't handle when other people cry" alex snapped, "i should know, i cried in a room for twenty five years and i didn't get a hug from any of you"

reggie sighed and uncrossed his arms as he reached in to give alex one of his warm hugs, "alright bring it in" he smiled.

"don't touch me" alex held up his arm blocking reggie's and luke and i let out a short sigh.

"this is why no one hugs you" my brother sighed.

"bro's got a point alex" i rolled my eyes.

"o-okay, so i think the first thing we should do, once we get the courage to go in there is to ask julie why she lied about playing the piano." luke butted in.

"yeh, maybe tell her how good she is" alex shrugged his shoulders.

a girl, about the same age as julie walked through the gate and down pass the band and i. she had long black hair which was tied up in plaits and she wore a black hat and a gorgeous red denim dress with a black denim jacket over the top, however it seemed as though she was also crying. "oh my gosh was she crying too" alex said in a concerned tone.

"yes! and the only thing scarier than one girl crying is two girls crying." luke's voiced suddenly went high pitched.

the boys all turned and looked at me and i held my hands up in surrender and gave them all a glare.

"we can't go in there" reggie said

"dangerous territory" i laughed

"but we can listen"

we all ran over to the studio door and peered in a window each. we watched the two girls to have what seemed like a heartfelt chat. they appeared to me that they were best friends and you wouldn't of guessed it but i was right. they shared a hug and made their way to head out of the studio. we all panicked and we all stood in weird positions as the two girls left the studio. well i say we, i meant the three guys, alex turned to face a plant with his hand planted on it (no pun intended), reggie sat crossed legged on the floor and luke did this model pose, he placed his hand on his hip and i just stood next to them, normally, and rolled my eyes.

"oh hey!" julie said as she smiled at us. we all smiled back but her friend gave her a weird look. "let's hustle" julie laughed nervously. she turned to us and waved goodbye and her friend gave her another weird look so julie started to make out she brushing the plants around her, off her. the two girls walked out the gate and headed to school. the boys and i headed in the studio to just take everything in.

"i wonder why julie didn't tell us she could shred on the piano" reggie said.

"and sing! that girl can sing" luke chirped in, and i nodded my head in agreement.

"probaly has something to do with her mom, must've been hard" alex shrugged his shoulders as he went and climbed the ladder to the loft to have a look round. "i really feel for her".

"yeh but now she has music back in her life, just like us!" luke exclaimed.

alex narrowed his brows and leaned over the edge of the wooden plank up on the loft, "yeh i wouldn't call what we have a life." we all smiled at him, he was always the one in the band to make little quirky comments here and there. "oh hey some of the clothes we left behind are still here" he said as he chucked us down the bags of clothes.

"yes, gimme gimme" i squealed.

"sweet!, the same clothes since '95 guys." luke said has he tore his jumper and vest off his body, uncovering his toned abs and perfectly smooth skin. i hadn't realised i was staring at him or i that i even had my jaw wide open until my brother came and closed my mouth shut and luke was now smiling at me. reggie gave me a stern look and sighed as he walked away from me.

"i- er, sorry" i let out a faint smile.

"don't worry about it" luke winked at me and just as he did reggie had turned around.

"dude, she's my sister!"

"sorry man"

all of a sudden julie's dad- ray- had entered the studio holding a camera in both of his hands. he walked through reggie which left reggie in a bit of a shock. he walked round the room and sat down on the stool which was stood at the piano julie had just been playing at. we all gathered to listen to him at the other end of the piano.

"she's such an amazing young woman. everyday she reminds me of you" ray began whilst trying to hold back a few tears. "oh um, i'm taking photos for the real estate website. i don't want to move but it's whats best for julie."

"move?" luke sadly questioned.

"so many memories in here" ray continued, "julie playing next to you and carlos trying to sing with his two missing front teeth" he let out a slight laugh.

i felt my eyes starting to be filled with tears, it reminded me of how much i wished for a close and loving family just like julie's but that wasn't the case with my brother and i. our parents always fought with each other and took it out on us most of the time. by the time my seventeenth birthday came around reggie and i decided to move out.

"oh no georgia, don't cry" he said as he looked to me then luke, "not you too luke"

"the poor guy is talking about moving but he doesn't want to move" luke sobbed. i patted him on the back and buried my head into his neck. oh.my.god. he smelt amazing.

"now he's got me to" reggie started to cry.

"okay, how am i the emotional one?" alex threw his hands in the air.

i lifted my face from luke's neck and shot alex a glare, "not the time dude."

us three were there sobbing along with julie's dad, i guess we could all relate (including alex) to each other and we all wished to have a family like this.

"can we go see mine and g's family, see how they're getting on?" reggie asked.

luke nodded his head as he wrapped his arm around me, " yes definitely. listening to this feels wrong" i was surprised reggie was okay with me clinging onto luke but i suppose it was a sad moment and i guess my love language is touch.

"do you remeber when the kids were at your sisters and we came out here on our anniversary-" ray carried on.

"yeah definitely wrong." luke said as we all poofed out of the studio.

we ended up right outside where my brother and i grew up, which caused a lot of memories to flood back to me. and not good memories at all.
