Goodbyes are salty
Like tears they roll off your lips
And dissolve into the nothing less air..The dark is ruled by silence and emptiness
Each step heavier than the last
Embracing, coaxing your mind to give in.Eyes flicker and turn
Closing briefly to find rest
But one would rather see the painTime flows like a released arrow
Mercilessly piercing through your consciousness
Before moving on to the next targetBroken wills bend like saggy arms
They wither like bones that carry no weight
Born on empty altars overrun with tearsA dull heart beats a hollow song
Like the dance of the gu*
It makes the wearer mad with pain.A closed room is the death
Of smiles, laughter, warmth and dreams
It can only keep the silenceStark, vivid dreams play in our sleep
They make one to embrace the night
Blurring out the corners of the day.****************************************
